As the most accomplished player in the tournament could you randomly generate four of the players below to the Invaders team and two to the Ming team, and post the results on the forum today or tomorrow please?

https://wheelofnames.com/

Snugglebunnies, PeterThe Painter, Warrior230, smjohnso77, SpeedyCM, lascar

As soon as teams are finalised, players may lodge provincial challenges.
Well I have no idea what that is, so I just took the expedient of rolling d6 for each player, a result of 1-4 being Invaders and 5-6 being Ming.

Ming:
SpeedyCM
SnuggleBunnies

Invaders:
smjohnso77
Warrior230
Peter The Painter
lascar

...assuming this is allowed? Tribal Rebels before 1595 isn't listed above, but the campaign is 1592-1700 so I'm assuming it's permitted
I missed that one snuggles...(allowed) added below

Please find below the allowable lists for each faction.
It goes without saying that all challenges should overlap time periods (Hence, you could not challenge Northern Rebels 1571-1593 with a Ming Northern Army 1597-1683)

Invaders
Qing Bannermen 1636-1700
Qing Green standard Army 1644-1700
Japanese Home Army 1591-1599, 1600-1603,1604 onwards
Northern Rebels 1571-1593, 1594-1596,1597-1683
Southern Rebels 1571-1593,1594-1596,1597-1598,1597-1683
Tribal Rebels 1595-1700
Jurchen Bannermen Before 1622, 1622-1628,1629-1635
Ming and Allies
Ming Northern Army 1560-1593, 1594-1596,1597-1683
Ming Southern Army 1571-1593, 1594-1596,1597-1683
Ming Joseon Expeditionary Force Before 1593, 1594-1596, 1597-1598
Joseon 1593-1594, 1595-1598, 1599-1600, 1601-1617, 1618-1700
Tribal Rebels Before 1595, 1595-1700
Eastern Mongols 1600-1634
Western Mongols 1635-1649, 1650-1700

The Japanese home army challenges the Southern Ming for domination of the province.

I'm fairly certain there'll be a mass migration from Japan soon...

I will mobilise the Southern Ming to resist your migration.

Just a clarification. "To win a province" one must "win" a battle. A draw is not sufficient to take a province.

Gavin would you be able to set up a map, or a list, with all the Attackers & Defenders noted ?
Would be very useful to both Teams.
Thanks
