Indeed - to ensure complete fairness, I will let you (and future Parliamentarian CiCs) know when our CiC has finalised our turn. At that point, you can PM your dispositions to me and I can resolve accordingly.

I've dropped it into the orders post.

I suppose so - we should only be choosing valid opponents regardless, but having the filter on won't hurt.

All orders have arrived with the Herald - I should have a challenge list sorted at lunchtime or early this evening!

Just waiting for a clarification from Parliament (they probably have to convene and vote and stuff) before putting the challenge list up.

The first draft of Behemoth, a strategic map-based campaign layer for Pike & Shot, is ready to see the light of day. The following link should, in theory, allow you to get hold of the rules, the map and the font the rules are written in (I recommend the font by the way, most fun for 17th century stuff).

https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=4 ... 6f26%21154

I am giving first dibs on playtest places to my allies and noble enemies from the Great Rebellion. Fear not if the rules daunt you somewhat; they are in essence relatively simple and with a strategic-minded player nominated/bullied/bribed to be your CiC, you will pretty much be fighting Pike & Shot battles without any administrative worries. Let me know either here or by PM if you are interested (or more importantly if the link is knackered!).

Thanks to Ironclad for providing me with great source materials, ideas and discussions about the game and the period!

Cheers.

What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

Challenges are up for Late 1643! Please check the notes about bonuses, terrain, etc. - should help us have a smooth start :)

Thanks to Deadtorius and Ulysisgrunt for volunteering for Behemoth, once there are a few more on board we should be able to make a start.

Cheers.
