Weekly round-up

In Division A hidde (Hannibal in Africa) has taken a firm grip on proceedings with 2 wins this week. He can still be overtaken by MikeC_81 (Romans) or NikiforosFokas (Thracians) but they will have to win all their remaining matches and hope hidde loses his last 2. At the bottom, the relegation issue could well be decided by the outcome of the match between klayeckles (Saka) and rbodleyscott (Rhoxolani). Not much action in Division B this week apart from another defeat for Ironclad (Seleucids) which leaves him still very much in a relegation battle with ggarynorman (Romans) and markwatson360 (Parthians). Hendricus (Macedonians) will be relegated from Division C despite winning his last match as close rivals batesmotel (Gallics) and Cunningcairn (Ptolemaics) registered important wins this week to move out of reach. XLegione (Romans) finished ninth with only one win in the season too. In Division D a late charge by dkalenda (Seleucids) has taken him to the top of the table and the automatic promotion spot. Congratulations to all the players in this very competitive division for being the first to complete all their 45 fixtures. A solitary result in Division E saw a win for gamercb (Lysimachids) to move him away from the bottom of the table. There are 5 matches still to be played in this division, all involving Okie (Seleucids) who currently has a hard drive failure.

Weekly round-up

A very slow week all round with only a few results reported across the four divisions. There were important victories though for MikeC_81 (Jewish Revolt) in Division A and IMC (Galatians) in Division D that confirmed them as winners of their respective divisions.

Weekly round-up

Very little to report in Division A this week where shadowblack finished his matches with a defeat to shawkhan2. shadowblack can still be pipped to second place should NikiforosFokas win his last 4 matches. In Division B Ludendorf can only be overtaken now by nyczar so their match against each other is crucial. Should nyczar win this he would still have to win his last 3 matches and hope that Ludendorf lost another match in the run in. Nijis finished strongly with 2 wins this week to inch ahead of devoncop and he could still finish second if the last few results work out in his favour. In Division C IMC won his last match against melm to win automatic promotion ahead of harveylh, while MikeMUC secured a creditable third place with 2 wins this week. At the bottom Morbio had an important win and melm secured his first win of the season. Brenmusik and Ulysisgrunt also desperately need points.

hidde, the Division A champion completed his fixtures with another victory this week and Cunningcairn won an important victory to ease his relegation concerns. In Division B dkalenda won 4 matches this week to move right away from the bottom of the table. Brenmusik and Okie are yet to score any points at the bottom of the table.
