A defeat for TheGrayMouser (Palmyrans) this week has left MikeC_81 (Jewish Revolt) needing a win and a draw from his last three matches to finish as champion in Division A. There is nothing to report from Division B but dkalenda (Palmyrans) has won Division C after a very narrow victory this week against his closest rival Morbio (Jewish Revolt). In Division D, IMC (Galatians) can still claim top spot if he wins his last match despite being held to a draw this week by nobbynobbs (Skythians). And oscarius (Dacians) can still make a late run for the automatic promotion place if he is able to win his last four matches.

dkalenda has won automatic promotion from Division C with his Palmyran army after a nail-biting 60-52 victory against his closest rival Morbio (Jewish revolt) this week. Congratulations dkalenda.

Weekly round-up

pantherboy secured the champion spot in Division A with a solid win against his nearest rival shadowblack. There were also wins for Breogan and shawkhan2 at the other end of the table. A first defeat for dkalenda has left Ludendorf in a stronger position at the top of Division B and two wins apiece for devoncop and Nijis have moved them into the top half of the table. In Division C , IMC suffered his first defeat but he will still win automatic promotion unless late reserve melm can win eight games in a row to stop him.

Division B

Shawkhan2's Macedonians had a draw result with edb1815's Achaemenid Persians. 17% to 30%

The map gave the Persians a huge hill covered with rough terrain and surrounded by difficult slopes in a corner . Outflanking the position proved impossible. An ancient general fighting under such conditions should have been crucified.
