Can I just bring this section of Rule 4 to everyone's attention please?

"We will also create "reserve lists" for each section those players who are in the 30 places in each book must get their first match underway within 14 days of the opening of the tournament or they will run the risk of being replaced by a reserve."

I will leave it for a couple more days but then I will be approaching the reserves we have for this section to see if they still wish to participate and replace those players who have not yet started their matches.

I will leave it for a couple more days but then I will be approaching the reserves or other players who wish to play in this section to see if they wish to participate and replace those players who have not yet started their matches.

I think most if not all players have started but I believe Gazxtrix has not, if anybody knows him, in particular email address, popping around for dinner etc, could you contact him please.

Initiative Tiavals.

A very interesting battle on the map with a mountain in the middle and a line of trees behind it on the Selucid side of the map. Lacking any terrain troops, the Seleucids very innovatively used cataphracts to break through my middle of MF on the mountain. Fortunately the Seleucid left flank was weak with only a couple elephants and some poor camels so my cavalry/pike/cataphract force here was able to turn the flank which proved decisive while half my pikes and a couple lancers and light troops managed to delay the mass of seleucid pikes and some cataphracts on the other side of the mountain. Thanks for a very interesting game.

Too many lucky stars to be counted shone over the Cartagaginians! First and foremost a bunch of Gallic MF who held against Roman legionaries for several turns.
Being in the woods helped but still a major feat. In the end only one fragmented Gallic BG persisted.
Surrounded by three Roman BGs they wouldn't budge and thereby allowed for rear charges that finished off all the Romans on the next turn!
My African Spearmen suffered badly on impact and the following melee against a mix of sup and avg pikes.
But they pulled themselves together and they too held their line till rear charges meant doom for most of the pikes.

Cracking game. The Lydians big cavalry wing swept down on my right flank. My outnumbered cavalry took the help from Gallic foot and a couple of HF.
After fierce fighting the Lydians were checked. The fighting on the flank continued all through the battle but they were no longer any real threat to my main battle line.
The two main forces had watched each other and maneuvered as the cavalry fought it out. Now they closed. As before my Africans did poorly on impact.
But during melee they performed better and managed to turn a flank. With the help of a looted camp Carthago barely scraped by.

As far as I can tell only two players; gazxtrix & OzzieNeil haven't posted on this thread. Please give a sign you are still participating. Or, if anyone is playing any of them, you can write here or PM me.
I will wait a day or two and then approach the two reserves we have for this section and ask if they are willing to step in.
