in "my documents", you must have :

Hi Again,
I did that with the usmc redux and it was able to show one row of the campaign. I start the game and it shows a black map on the bottom right, 12 turns and then crashes. I must be missing something else.

I finally got it to work,
GME Program = activated USMC Redux (picture4 GME)
Program Files/slitherine/panzercorps/mods/usmcredux audio data graphics (picture labeled5) second one showing
Documents/My Games/panzercorps/mods/usmcredux campaign
I messed everything up by placing the GME file 0.95 in GME instead of the GME redux folder

You don’t have in your mods list, the mod PHCAS (https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewto ... 47&t=92787)

There is a Full installation that just came out easy to install

PS: you could clean up your desk a bit, there are too many icons lying around for me

I agree terminator, I just don't want to move anything, you know how that is when you clean, can't find things . By the way, what is the best way to get to desktop view when you have a program up? Is it the Windows key?

I file all my files, shortcuts... in folders on the desktop. I use the Windows key to return to the desktop.

playing this bebro's masterpiece I realize the movement values table for light jungle(reuse bocage entry) is wrong, it seems it is harder to cross light(bocage) than normal jungle(forest)

following playing and fixing if I find something wrong(in my opinion), now in Saipan with new LVT tanks defined as movement amphibious(value 8= old alpine) so they can be purchase with truck....
I guess alpine movement has as default land transport but I cannot find where it is defined, it is not in movement.pzdat or other pzdat file...
is there a way to no set transport to this LVT?

Hi,
I'd try in the equipment.pzeqp file, deleting all entries in the "usable transports" column in the LVT's row should remove its ability to be purchased with a truck. It's likely that the modder forgot to change the entry from the original "land sea rail air glider".
I don't recall any such thing as a class-associated transport but I think that the default truck transport you're looking for is defined by that "land" word in the default usable transports entry.

It looks like the equipment file was made for an older version of panzer corps : for whatever reason the "usable transports" and "transport category" columns are missing in the file.
My guess is that with the two columns missing the game does what it sees fit so everything that could use a amtrac can, even if it doesn't make sense. I did some quick tests and I think my theory could be right : you can even put an infantry in an amtrac and the loaded amtrac in a C-47 ?!?
Since amtracs are a mod's addition the game doesn't know how to handle them so it doesn't handle anything and gives up. On the contrary the C-47 (which the game knows: it's already included in vanilla) cannot carry a bunker (class 6 structure), the very basic transports must be hard-coded in their capabilities.
So maybe you could try to add the two missing columns to the file, "usable transports" first "transport category" second. Then input in "category" a name for your transport like "amtrac" and in "usable" you put "amtrac" in every unit's row you want to have the abillity to board an amtrac. Maybe you already know how it works and you can also take a look at other more "modern" equipment files with those two columns.
As far as I know you can have a many different names as you like if you want more diversity like 42' Marines can only use LVT1, 44' Marines only LVT4 etc... you'd use "amtrac42" and "amtrac44" as names for example and input them in the right unit's row.

that worked, thanks friend! file that I am using contains both columns but I have to assign specific "usable transport"lvt1 and lvt4 to not show other land transports in purchase windows.
In fact now I realized that many scenarios without lvt sea transport defined do not allow deploy LVT amtanks because only LCM transports were available. After my changes core can have these amtank and be ready to deploy and dembark

Personally I always remove everything from these two columns when I make or rework an equipment file. I then add stuff as needed. I prefer to build everything from scratch, it's clearer and it allows you to add something that is missing (which is easier) rather than seeing something popping out of nowhere (which is really annoying
)

I forgot to think about the lvt sea transports class 16, but actually I think that adding the sea transports to the transports tab of the scenario properties dialog box only makes them available "on demand" when you move a unit in a port and want it to embark a transport mid-game. My point is that if you want a unit to arrive on the map already onboard a lvt, you just need to give that unit the lvt in the editor and that's it (provided that unit has access to such a transport by having the transport's category name in its "usable" column.
Just out of curiosity, are you just fixing broken things in the mod or possibly making a new expansion ? (for either personal use or future release)
BTW, it looks on your pic that you've increased brightness or something, it looks good, makes things more sunny.

no for core units in deployment stage, if you deploy an unit in sea and you do not have "usable transport" in "transport tab" the game crashes, so I added in every scenario after release LV1 and LVT4 those transports.Yes ! At beginning I just only wanted to played them(IJA and USMC), later I though just customized them for myself, later fix them and include new maps ... and right now my idea is to integrate them in current PC structure(base and expansions) as a complete game just copy and replace, using gc for IJA,ac for usmc, sc for URSS and ak for Commonwealth...every pacific expansion with corresponding features and look & feel.
so yes, someday(no deadline) I will try to finish and publish in slitherine, but for the moment finishing USMC and creating Olympic as new extra step after Okinawa.
And yes, you saw well, one of the change is 20% brigth and axis units darker to identify them easier.
