On a rolling battlefield with rough going, woods and a marsh the Danish spearmen were the key. The Ghurid cavalry put pressure on the Danish left flank, but the Danish knights arrived just in time. Thanks for the game.

a rapid advance in both sides and the existance of a river crosing the midle of the battefield allowed my army to denay a pike fight instead routing the majority of the rest of the macedonian army.

Karvon Arab Conquest 629 AD defeated random27 Byzantine 600-649 + Sassanid Persian allies 64-57.

A back and forth battle in which our spears supported by lancer reserve finally overpowered the Byzantine center.

Dreddradish Indian (Hindu north) 600 - 1049 CE defeats Challenge1 Arab (Conquest) 638-684 AD 50 - 23

The battle started as a drawn out skirmish with both sides occupying favourable terrain. Eventually the massed firepower of the Indian missile troops brought the Arabs out where they made early gains with their superior quality lancers. This advantage quickly dissolved into a general melee and while their excellent spears made steady progress they couldn't press quickly enough to avoid being flanked and eventually collapsing.

Lennard Berber (Murabit) 1087-1147 with Andalusian 1050-1154 allies defeats Karvon Venetian 1440-1500. 50 - 60%

It felt like a very tough matchup for the Berbers (and proofed to be exactly that). But in the end they won by flanking and slightly outmanouvering the heavy Venetian infantry. The figthing was still long and bloody, but in the end the Venetians had to give way.

unai98 ( Pyrrhic 280-275) defeats anderarcos11 (Roman 105-25) 47 - 60

A lot closer that the score would indicate thanks to a few rallies in the last turns.
Map was divided in two by a lake that probably saved the pyrrhic army from a disaster
after a long skirmish between lights on the left while the cavalry and infantry on the right got into position the Pyrrhic army was capable of using the over committing of roman legionaries on the right to push it’s numerically superior pikes on the left to break the majority of the roman infantry while part of its cavalry was capable of escaping of the absolute defeat that was the right.
By the end there was units of legionaries being held up behind the lines in both the left and right of the army .
surprise mvp the Italian foots on the right both holding a roman legionary unit for multiple turns in the open and beating a scutari unit in the forest stopping the entire collapse of the army

Janohito using Assyrians with Egyptian Allies defeated anderarcos playing as Romans 105-25BC. Final score 57-26

It was a close affair with Romans going heavily into elite legionaries while Assyrians using mix of infantry and chariots to hold the line. While Roman legionaries went through Assyrian infantry like hot knife through butter, chariots managed to hold for long enough as Assyrian cavalry did their work on exposed flanks of the legionaries.

These should be started ASAP to insure sufficient time to finish.
