Either you have mis-typed the result or you are declaring a victory that is not correct. It looks to me that this battle was a draw since both sides reached break point.

Mistyped results. WOR Lancs lost 37 out of 45 APs. Scots lost 58 out of 53 APs. I probably should have kept both reporting forms consistent, but consistency is the hobgoblin of a simple mind.

Peter G, can you confirm if one battle is all that is required to capture the province when Eupatoria is in anarcy?
Yes it is - if you win a battle as a country collapses you get the area - all other areas are removed. From memory 2 were involved during the collapse of Eupatoria.
The Westralians have said they want to fight on.
As soon as winter is over we shall comply with their wishes.
I suspect that God was on the side of the Canaanites - is that fair? Especially when us Ptolemaics worship many Gods? Alexander must be turning in his grave.

In their punitive campaign to deter aggression, the Clan have been victorious in their first battle against Egypt.
VICTORY for the attacking Clan (Isles & Highland)
12.796/70,000 22/54
DEFEAT for the defending Egyptians (Ordonnance Burgundians)
12,045/42,500 36/36
Will the Egyptians cruelly force the highlanders to winter in the barren wastes, or will they agree peace and concede the province?
The highlander wave will be even more irresistable next time.........

Are they rejoining the campaign with a new army/country?
Both expressed an interest in doing so. I'm just waiting for remaining battles results to come in then I can work with Morbio to get the map ready for the new year.
