An exhausting win for Parliament:
Ulysisgrunt 53% loss;

Congratulations to Ulysisgrunt for his well deserved victory in this tremendous battle. After his great success against my main cavalry force it was left to my sterling infantry and remaining cavalry to attempt to recover our laurels through a sweeping wheel through his infantry which eventually left both sides in the reverse positions he described. Shades of (the future) Zorndorf! Despite those efforts there was too much to undo to halt the Parliamentary tide on this bloody field.

I have reported the sad outcome to our good King Charles but have assured him of the continuing constancy of the loyal peoples of the North-West to his just cause and that this army will soon be ready to once more beat down the ravaging hordes and misguided folk who do the bidding of those rascals who have usurped Parliament to their evil ends. God Save the King.

I have a small favour to ask - when reporting results, could you please start the post with:

Region, Challenger, %, Opponent, %

This makes my misreporting of scores less likely :)

Thanks.

Less likely by you, but more likely by us, if we mix up the challenger and the opponent ;)

Use the 30% for something else - the good news is that the expansion is out today with a 50% discount for the PC version! :)

Or use the 30% credit to get 30% off the 50% price.

The game requires you to upgrade so there shouldn't be a problem with anyone on the older version.

That is correct, and the update should not have any adverse effect on continuing games.

Parliament has taken another step towards securing the South.
Shawkhan2's glorious, although very Dour, Parliamentarians(anointed of the Lord)32%, have defeated the bloodthirsty Tyrant's Royalists of Blathergut 61%.

We regret the terrible loss of Good Godfearing Fellows sent to their maker by the insidiously diabolical mind of General Blathergut.

Battle for Anglia
Aryaman won 9%vs42% Deadtorius (+33%)
As our army entered Anglia the Rebels deployed to face us, full of confidence as if they were defending a just cause. Our army charged them furiously and they couldn´t stand, routing quickly. Our cavaliers did great execution among the the rebels, scattering them all over the land. Anglia is turning to his rightful sovereign, God save the King!

A dusty and bloodstained messenger has this day arrived from the North East bringing ill tidings. A great battle has been fought between generals Doyley 50 and Deadtorius resulting in defeat for the Royalists (Doyley 50 66,Deadtorius 42, 24%). Doyley 50 placed his infantry along a ridge line with a forlorn hope in a hamlet at its foot. A strong position, but this did not deter Deadtorius and his army of rebels and traitors, who attacked most energetically, and soon the right flank of the Royalist infantry were in trouble. There followed a long and bloody battle the outcome of which was in doubt for much of the time, but eventually Deadtorius and his men prevailed.

Edit: Quite right Ironclad, it obviously was too early in the morning for me when I posted.

Commiserations my Lord, sad times for our Northern regions. I assume you mean Deadtorius 42% and the Royalists 66%? (Just checking for the map changes).

Advanced Warning for Late 1643

Parliament CiC will be rbodleyscott and Royalist CiC will be Ironclad.

Also Bonus Points will be used from this turn onward - I will post the faction's points balances once we have all the scores in.
