That killing should happen in 25 years - just before they invade Poland.

I have started an AAR for this mod, based on Horseman's "Diary of Herr Pferdmann" and his newer AK one.

And no one has replyed to me since that happened. Does anyone even read my forums any more!?

I might disappear temporarily, as Mariokart 8 is coming out soon (and I will likely blow 200 hrs on it before the end of 2014)

I already let you down with the Mark IV  ... My apologies, and my feeble excuse: my days off work I had planned to use to finish the icon ended up being used to tutor my 'replacement' and some last-minute crunching because a client had 'overlooked' an important email but miraculously 'discovered' it a few days before a deadline was supposed to expire. And your mod does not wait for stragglers.

A request: since they are already familiar with my location, could you send them to a grassy field on the edge a a nearby industrial estate? You see, I was looking forward to the first quiet weekend in a month, but it seems some sort of youth-oriented noisy festival is taking place there this very evening. They are already doing practice sessions, just tell the stormtroopers that there is beer and mud, they'll love it.

And about their new arsenal, this Annoying-Sound-Gas sounds worrisome, although I've survived vuvuzelas, but what on earth ( ) is "Moon Shielding"?

Mmmh... about that gas-shell icon:

Since you posted, I will happily order the stormtroopers over to the festival (I mean, who doesn't enjoy blowing up musical stuff and replacing it with bombs).

About the arsenal:

Annoying Sound gas is a perfectly safe (but annoying) gas that when you breathe it in, your brain starts thinking about annoying sounds, which take about 5 days to go away. It is used as a threat because it is known to drive people crazy.

Moon shielding is a technology embedded into Stormtrooper shields (using moonrock), that can deflect anything (including nuclear waste!). It is purely defensive, though anything shot at it usually ends up killing the shooter.

Updates for v1.2:

To keep the main Kaiserschlacht campaign separate from the GC '14-'18 in the new patch, I have set up the campaign and scenario screens to be more like the vanilla game:
Campaign Screen
Campaign Screen
Campaign.JPG (144.9 KiB) Viewed 7852 times
Note that all of the scenarios and campaigns are fully accessable with any expansion set up (Wehr, AK or AC)
Scenario Screen
Scenario Screen
Scenarios.JPG (123.18 KiB) Viewed 7852 times
And finally, the Scenario Screen (thanks McGuba!)

With this patch we say farewell to all traces of WW2 stuff (save the vanilla GCs '39-'45), as I have changed campaign paths and things so that the base scenarios aren't openable (without hacking the mod). I have left the "Custom" slot there in the scenario selection screen, mostly so that I can test the new GC scenarios as they are completed.

And finally, the custom menu screen (made by Asuser), will now appear when AK or AC are activated, rather than just Wehrmacht, as with v1.1

The Conquestor page for this mod is up: http://conquestor.wikispaces.com/WWI+Mod

Also, I am editing the advanced difficulty settings:

"Rommel" will become "Hindenburg", because of Hindenburgs superior strategy at Tannenburg
"Guderian" will become "Ludendorff", because of the near Breakthroughs in the Spring Offensive (1918)
"Manstein" will become "Falkenhayn", largely for his actions during the Race to the Sea.

Hey BNC, in our days Falkenhayn is known in germany as the man with the wrong strategy at verdun, wasting myriads of young men hoping to have more of them in reserve than his opponents. I have no real alternative, but in my oppinion Manstein was a much more brilliant head than Falkenhayn was.
Whats up with Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck, the defender of german-east-africa? He did a job like Manstein did in early 43 in the ukraine.

Thank you for the great project

Your comparison between Manstein and Falkenhayn makes little sense IMHO, since they operated under different preconditions (military hardware, logistics).

BTW, could you name any general on any side, who didn't waste thousands of soldiers for a few meters (yards) gain on the western front?
We'll never know how well Falkenhayn (or not) would have operated in 1940 during WW II
or how well Manstein had done in WW I, if he had been a senior officer...

I'll take your advice on that. No annoying Falkenhayn anymore!

To make life easier for me (and anyone else who plans to mod my mod), I have removed all WWII units from the WWI equipment list (other than trains, landing craft and fortresses. So, even though the custom box will be left in v1.2, don't try to load any WWII scenarios, as they won't work.

Also, the East Prussia scenario is nearly done (after much annoyance from stormtroopers, who don't think I will release on time) - so the BNC mod machine is finally running again.

The Tannenburg scenario is finished as well.

I will explain it and the next 2 eastern scenarios once someone posts here

OK, I have actually removed the GC 39-45 from my mod, and even if you have purchased it, you won't be able to play with the mod enabled. Instead, that screen will show up with GC 14, and later the other years of the war.

Also, what would people's thoughts be on me adding an Eastern Front start campaign that later becomes part of Kaiserschlacht. I am thinking of adding 3 scenarios here, which can be passed by a DV or MV, and with no choice path. Following the end of the last scenario, you go to Poland 15.

Scenarios:
Danzig 14 - August-September 1914 - The Russians are advancing into East Prussia. You may retreat as far as you wish, but you will need to push the enemy right out of the province quickly or the nation's morale may fall.

Galicia - October 1914 - The Austrians have got into a pickle (are they ever not!), and the major oilfields in Galicia are at risk of falling. You must protect them.

Courland - January-February 1915 - The spectacular offensive that got the Germans to the gates of Riga!

Would people be interested? If so, I will attempt to add it with the GC 15 update, which is set for late July.

***MAJOR UPDATE***

In v1.2.1 (The patch name for GC 15), I hope to rebalance the Kaiserschlacht scenarios to include the Horse Transpprts, Light/Medium/Heavy Artillery and other new units!

Also, GC 15 is planned to have a very... unusual surprise should you make it to Moscow. (Not total victory!)

 What do people think of my Eastern Front 1914 part of Kaiserschlacht? :?:

Due to time constraints, I am looking for people to test some of the scenarios. (I can't really push release - June 28 is too significant, and it is 100 years after the event).

If I can get 4 volunteers each with 1 scenario, that should do fine.

Note that they will be sent as individual scenarios with the files needed to test (not all the extra stuff like single scenario play)
