The Stalingrad scenario is a BETA version. Together with some forum members we improve this scenario. The hotfixes improve some important balance issues. You do not need to use the hotfixes, it will all be in the coming v0.51 update.
If you do not install all your fixes how will we find the truth in this beta of Stalingrad )
Panzer Corps - Update v0.50a
Panzer Corps - Update v0.50b (Part 1)
Panzer Corps - Update v0.50b (Part 2)
Panzer Corps - Update v0.50b (Part 3)

I hope all our observations and suggestions are taken into account )
I can not make other hotfixes now because the work on update v0.51 is changing too much in the equipment file already. Just give your sugestions and wait for update v0.51 to see the next level of the scenario. A BETA version of a scenario gives this kind of strugle but you can play the scenario more early, have you comment on the development and at the end the scenario will be better. You also can wait playing the scenario till it's finished in the Future.
I understand this but it is probably possible to put Soviet troops in Grozny and Baku right now ))) + add chechen bandits )

Hi again :)

Would it be possible if there is more versions of the mod planned adding the Churchill IV to the Russian units.
The Russian used them together with the KV-1S during the battles against the Finns summer of 1944 in the 46 Guards Heavy Tank Regiment.

Hello Sapa:

Sometime ago, I uploaded a Soviet Churchill Mk.III icon... The Soviets received both models of the Churchill tank (Mk.III y Mk.IV). They mostly differed in the turret design. The Mk.III had a welded turret and the Mk.IV an easier to manufacture cast one. Here is such icon, with some improvements. I hope you like it...

Here it is worth making a few additional comments. Metal caterpillar cycloid fastening on the tank "Churchill" gave slipping in the slush and ice. Therefore, domestic craftsmen inserted special steel "spurs" into them, which made it difficult for the tracks to slip.

After 1st August 1942 between Maikop and Grozny (near to Grozny), for this scenario max 2 infantry units (like Italian black shirt soft attack). They should be placed on the map while Axis troops cross some zone, not behind the front line.
I will call them partisans, not bandits. Nobody wanted the Soviet Union in the Caucasus region. Moreover, between 1918-19 there was the small Mountainous Republic of the Northern Caucasus.

Let's leave politics you have all the guerrillas until September 11, then suddenly, once in a moment, these guerrillas turn into ISIS and the Taliban , and then bandits and then who does not agree with democracy and does not want to give their oil to the terrorists !)))

Hi I'll clarify this ) And I will send you links here, if I am here with my Russophobic conclusions, no one will interfere with those present! !

Abwehr in the North Caucasus
https://www.vpk-news.ru/articles/17
The German command planned to seize oil-producing enterprises in the regions of Grozny and Baku as part of Operation Edelweiss. The particular complexity of the planned military operations was the need to keep these enterprises intact and immediately establish the receipt of urgently needed fuel and lubricants. To solve this and a number of other tasks, the operation "Shamil" was aimed, involving the use of the "Bergmann" battalion, formed by the second department of the Abwehr in October 1941 from representatives of the peoples of the North Caucasus and Transcaucasia. Chueva " Damned soldiers. M., 2004. p. 538-540). The Nazis placed special hopes on local residents who were dissatisfied with the Soviet government. In August 1942, the battalion of saboteurs was transferred to the Caucasus near Maykop, in the area of Elbrus and other points. The German command ordered to carry out the tasks of capturing and destroying important communications, organizing an insurgent movement, as well as creating panic, and conducting anti-Soviet propaganda. At the same time, a parachute landing of 25 people under the command of Oberleutnant Lange was undertaken in the oil basin near the city of Grozny. This group was spotted and fired at while still in the air and then destroyed by Soviet fighters. However, Lange survived, he took refuge with local collaborators and after a few months returned to his own. The Germans, one by one, send their paratroopers to the rear of the Soviet troops. But every time they are destroyed. For example, in September 1942, a group of 12 saboteurs under the leadership of non-commissioned Officer Rekkert was thrown into the territory of the Chechen-Ingush ASSR. In total, it is known about five attempts to introduce reconnaissance and sabotage groups of "Brandenburgers". Even after the retreat of Hitler's troops from the Caucasus in 1943, three more attempts were made (quote from the source on the Internet "The struggle of state security agencies and NKVD troops with the armed underground on the territory of the USSR"). The German command placed special hopes, and not without reason, on the local "rebels". Only on the territory of the Chechen-Ingush ASSR in August 1942, there were 37 such formations (data from the book by N. F. Bugai " L. Beria-I. To Stalin: "According to your instructions..." Moscow, 1995. p. 91). Thus, the aforementioned group of "Brandenburgers" under the command of Rekkert, abandoned on the territory of Chechnya, relied on the help of 400 "rebels" of the R. Sahabov gang (although this did not save it from destruction). Significant assistance to troops of the NKVD in the Caucasus had four militia, about 80 teams of assistance and more than 65 guerrilla groups that have successfully implemented the techniques and methods of action of reconnaissance and sabotage groups in the struggle against the Nazi forces and their collaborators (from the book by V. P. Sidorenko. "The NKVD troops in the Caucasus during the Great Patriotic War. St. Petersburg, 1999, p. 103). Although the Germans refused to believe in the obvious facts, and in some German reports, you can find evidence that the main reason for the failure to create a Nazi "second front" in the Caucasus and the failure of Operation Shamil was the lack of the necessary number of weapons. The fascists could not admit that some of the vaunted German special forces were captured and destroyed with the help of the people's militia.

Yes, it is true, from Moscow's point of view they were bandits and renegades. From Chechen's point of view, they were partisants\local heroes. From the German point of view, they were "Useful idiots" or cannon fodder.
The same was with Ukrainian or Belarus volunteers.

Do you think it's easy to take and banish people !? This is how you should have behaved in general and enraged the government to start an eviction operation already in 1944 ! We did not live in that time to judge easily but the truth is difficult to find )))
