Is SU-17 correct or a typo? If we really get a SU-17 from that cache where do I find that vehicle and what kind of vehicle is it?Stormchaser wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 1:32 pm
Cache
13,1 contains 17 SU-17, 22 OT-34, and 29 PT-29
34,1 contains 21 Spitfire Mk.II, 19 P-40, and 26 P-38.
Re: Commendations, Caches, and Collectables
The SU-17 is a Russian strike bomber. roughly from 1970 to late 90s in service.Wagner0445 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 12:56 am Is SU-17 correct or a typo? If we really get a SU-17 from that cache where do I find that vehicle and what kind of vehicle is it?
It should read SU 57, which in this case is the selfpropelled AT-gun not the stealthplane.

Wonderful list!
Is there a reason, why "Return to Stalingrad" and "Zhitomir" aren't mentioned?

Thanks. I found the plane on the internet and thought it had to be a typo.Grondel wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 1:55 amThe SU-17 is a Russian strike bomber. roughly from 1970 to late 90s in service.Wagner0445 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 23, 2022 12:56 am Is SU-17 correct or a typo? Re: Commendations, Caches, and Collectables
Hello,
I got a couple of questions in regards to tokens.
First, I see the Jagdtiger token mentioned, but I don't think it exchanges for an actual jagdtiger? Just for Tiger P's?
Second, I refused to let Galland go earlier on in the campaign, he's too good, so I gave up the BF 109 G's. Will this have any further consequences further down the line?
Thanks to anyone who can answer, would really appreciate the help. I'm recording a series of all DLC's for youtube and worried I'll miss out on some stuff.
Best Regards,
Yogdog

Yes, it just gives extra 15 Tiger (P) parts.yogkangaroo wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 6:50 pm First, I see the Jagdtiger token mentioned, but I don't think it exchanges for an actual jagdtiger? Just for Tiger P's?
No consequences at all here. The only thing it does is some flavor awkwardness in one mission when you meet Galland in a briefing, yet he's still in your force as a pilot.yogkangaroo wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 6:50 pm Second, I refused to let Galland go earlier on in the campaign, he's too good, so I gave up the BF 109 G's. I managed to finish both campaigns and think I got everything.
So if you want I can help you.
Also, the campaign tree is pretty useful: https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=110507

Curious to ask, any detail of those "Elite Goodies" ? I'm want to know if the rewards are worth enough to risk my troop to fight for, thanks.

Finally we get a no supply hero. I dont think it is possible to get this trait with normal heroes.VirgilInTheSKY wrote: ↑Sun Nov 13, 2022 4:47 am 07. Lublin

This dude comes a bit late, supply is no longer important. Limitating factor is the amount of ammunition, my 20 strength mouse could play a scenario by its own

But zero slots again, well thats like +10% core slots over even more.

Yeah, the first time a No Supply hero becomes available. He does prove to be useful in this very scenario, the encircled 4th Panzer Army has a 15 strength Panther with him attached, so with some effort he could fought a way out on his own thanks to this immunity, if you push quick enough to the rescue.DefiantXYX wrote: ↑Mon Nov 14, 2022 7:15 am Finally we get a no supply hero. Oh, I did not even notice. Guess he was also killed, I could barely get out 7 units, most of them infantry units who could hide in the swamps.VirgilInTheSKY wrote: ↑Mon Nov 14, 2022 9:24 am Yeah, the first time a No Supply hero becomes available. Re: Commendations, Caches, and Collectables
Indeed to late. Imagine a no supply/camouflage recon operating behind enemy lines in 1941, or of course paratroopers with no supply. The advantge of no supply is that you dont need to care of supply chains.DefiantXYX wrote: ↑Mon Nov 14, 2022 7:15 am

A 20 OS Maus makes literally no sense in 9 out of 10 cases. Yes it can win a mission on its own, in what ? 200 turns ? Its slow af, low on ammo and will need 3 or 4 S Tier heros to do this job.
Its ok if you considers this as fun, but i would suggest not using the Maus. There are some cool russian/german tanks that fit better for such a hero combination.

If you are interested in some background on OS and so on

Re: Commendations, Caches, and Collectables
Its a great video but outdated, afair it is not made for siutations you have in the current dlc. You are fighting enemies with huge overstrength, heroes and stuff.
A 5 star 20 OS Maus can kill 20 enemies with one shoot. It can overrun a 20 strength unit, maybe something a Tiger II or Panther G wont be able to, since the enemy got too much grounddefense.
In 1944 you dont need speed, there are so many enemies and most of the time you are rather defending than attacking.
2 heroes are enough, maybe the dude we are talking about and a overstrength hero. If you add vigilant (?!) hero
the mouse cant be damaged. Unlike tiger II and panther, they still get damaged by tanks or supporting antitanks/artillery.
And you dont have to care about ammunitions. Russians will eat your tanks when they cant defend, they wont even attack an mouse since its useless.
Actually its already a huge differnce if you running a tiger II or panzer VII /E75 prototype.
