An epic roller coaster of a battle where for most of the game I was certain of defeat. I was encouraged to play on by carpenkm who is one of the most gracious and friendly opponents. I will have to watch the videos to see what happened but the score does not represent how close it was and it really could (should) have gone carpenkm's way. Thanks for the game and these Chinese forces are really testing my skill in how to play the game.

Pro Tip: Elephants and Knights do not mix. Keep your knights away from them lest bad things happen. Fortunately the other parts of army were able to engage the more vulnerable units and create the chance for victory.

Just to clarify this match was a draw. We went 24 turns with neither army breaking.

Very tough one and well played by Bodhran (in the lead of Division D). It seemed like both armies were stuck at 50% for 10 turns!!

Big part of the map was rough ground (including a huge hill occupied by Imperial Germans), which didn’t really suit Byzantine army. Good game!
