FOG2DL Guide: How to issue a challenge in multi-player
We have one player who is not sure how to set up challenges in multiplayer for the tournament. There may be others who need some help to get started.
So first thing to do is click on the multi-player lobby tab . . .
Then log in with your username and forum password . . .
You are now in the multiplayer lobby and you need to click on the "My Challenges" tab . . .

Click on "New Challenge" tab at the bottom of the screen . . .
Then click on "Create Skirmish" tab towards the top left of the screen . . .
Now you have got the "Custom Battle" screen up where you put the details of your army . . .

Re: FOG2DL Guide: How to issue a challenge in multi-player
The terrain is always "Pot Luck". Then click on "Create" at the very bottom of the screen . . .
You now go through to the "Create a Challenge" screen and this where you password protect your match so that someone from outside the tournament cannot take your match by mistake. You can also use the "Comment" box to put brief details of the match e.g. Biblical Division A match, or whatever . . .
Press the "Create" button at the bottom of the screen . . .

Re: FOG2DL Guide: How to issue a challenge in multi-player
You can now see the match in the multiplayer lobby screen. It is ready for your opponent to accept . . .
Note the orange icon at the very beginning of the line denoting that the challenge is password-protected . . .
If, however, your opponent has issued the challenge click on the 'Accept Challenge' tab at the top right to get the list of all available games, find the correct match and highlight it then press the 'Accept Challenge' button at the bottom" . . .

Re: FOG2DL Guide: How to issue a challenge in multi-player
You are asked if you want to accept the challenge. Click on the "Yes" box (with the V) . . .
Then enter the password that you have been given . . .
And the game will move to your "Current Active Games" and you are ready to play. Click on the "Play" tab at the bottom . . .

Re: Biblical recruitment, provisional places are now available
Everyone who has posted their name in this thread before this message has definitely got a place in this section for Season 12. There will be 5 divisions. I would like to have a 6th division, but I am not sure if we will get enough players. If we can get another 4 players, so that we have 34 players registered in total, I will open up a 6th division and recruitment can go beyond the start of the season, if necessary.
If you are interested in playing in Biblical, please still put your name down and we will see if we can get the required numbers.

Re: Divisional line-up for Classical Antiquity . . .
All those gents up in the high rent districts had to get passed this speed bump in the meat grinder that is Classical Antiquity Division E. This season though...cue the Eye of the Tiger montage because it is on like Babylon.

Re: Divisional line-up for Classical Antiquity . . .
I did have a Member's Only jacket in the 80's. Wore it all over the place on port calls on my Med cruises. A very good time was had. Spent all my money on a pair of Italian loafers and went to the island of Capri poor but looking good.ray552 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 12:25 amThe 80's called and want their "Members Only" jackets back: "Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger (Official HD Video)" - YouTubeBarrold713 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 12:06 am All those gents up in the high rent districts had to get passed this speed bump in the meat grinder that is Classical Antiquity Division E. I already am down as themed as a reserve, just reminding here
Would love to be part of the last Themed section if you can only find 3 or 4 for it.

Hearing the above from Barry, how some Europeans would ever accuse our colonial cousins of lacking taste and refinement completely baffles me
