T-16.png

Maybe better to name it T-16? As the KhTZ-16 looks a bit weird in English. As the Kh refers to Kharkov as far as I know which should be pronounced more like Harkov as it is written in many other languages. So maybe HTZ-16 would be better in that case probably being closer to the original Russian pronunciation but that is not in line with the official sources.
very nice :)

One more request. :)
The Soviets had railroad artillery closely associated with naval artillery, in addition to the TM-3-12.
An even more numerous series was TM-1-180 - 20 pcs. were built.
The 180mm naval gun was also installed on the Kirov-class cruiser.
There were two modes, a transport mode and a mode in the position of fire with deployed supports.

I have collected some materials, unfortunately there are not so many of them, some are rather rare.

There was also the installation of a 130mm B-13 as a coastal battery.
There were more than 150 pieces like coastal guns. It was also installed on destroyers.

A significant number of such guns were placed on railway platforms. 130mm B-57 railway gun
Which were very mobile.

There are even fewer materials on them :)

The Australians (and probably the British) used Vickers Light Mark II and Mark IV (with the boxy turret and a single 0.303" MG) in the desert. Is there any possibility of getting one of these - even if only for Australian use?
If you aren't doing what-if's I guess I'm out of luck for a UK-colour Vickers 6E or 6F (held back from export orders post-Dunkirk)
And yes, I do seem to have an interest in lame early-war tanks.

Lyogky tank 9TR
In the early autumn of 1939, a modified version of the 7TP in the number of 100 tanks was to be released. The exact name is unknown, although it is conventionally designated 9TP, and sometimes - "reinforced 7TP". The 9tp chassis remained the same, and the engine was supposed to make a light "Saurer" CT1D. Light tank 9TR Due to the difference in weight, the car acquired additional armor. The front reservation was increased to 4 cm, which was quite decent at that time. Armament was similar to that installed on the 7TP, but it turned out to slightly increase the distance from the bottom of the tank to the ground. Due to this, the passability has increased. Before the invasion of the country by the Nazis, only 11 9tp models came off the Assembly line (excluding 2 prototypes).

T-29-5 at factory № 100, 1942
By August 22, 1941, both T-29s were on the territory of the NIBT Landfill. On September 29, the T-29-5 was sent to Kazan, where a branch of the polygon was organized. In 1942, the tank was transported to Chelyabinsk, where it ended up on the site at plant № 100. Coincidentally, by that time in Chelyabinsk was also Zeits, who was engaged in work on KV-13.

A repaired reference T-29, along with A-20 and a number of other polygon tanks, was part of a separate tank company under the command of captain Karpenko. The company became part of the Mozhaisk fortified area. By October 8, the "Semyonov company" (as this unit is called in the documents of the NIBT Polygon) was 2 T-26 and one T-40, T-29, A-20, at-1 2 BA-10 and BA-20. Quite interesting was the auxiliary equipment of the company: there were 5 ZIS-22, 2 ZIS-5, a type "a" bat and a Japanese type 94 truck. In this composition, the Semyonov company took part in combat operations until the end of October 1941. Then the traces of the T-29 are lost.

Information about the use of the T-29 in the 22nd tank brigade does not correspond to reality. In this connection got a-20, which fought until December 3, 1941. On this day, in a battle in the area of Pavlovskaya Sloboda, he was hit, after which he was evacuated to rembaza.

Hello. Discussion with Phcas. Here's what he thinks:
"Heroes are a problem. I think it's fun to see the "real" historical figures (heroes) with their historical units. But the game is messing that up by giving the player random heroes during the game. I also agree it will be nice to have this heroes already in Poland however in reality they first have to become heroes so starting in Poland with a lot of heroes already is not so realistic. For me it's more important that a specific hero is on the right unit than the values of that hero in the game. So the numbers the hero add to the game are limited to 1 already. For example the HQ units have all heroes as much as possible more for historical reasons, just to get the right historical faces by the unit. The values that the hero adds to a HQ unit are useless."

Hi, you have sources and photos of this tank?
[/quote]

Will have a look this weekend. I also found out that they were also present in Malaya, so could be used in your Pacific work.

I'm not very good with adding photos, so I have used links.

First a link to use in Malaya. The link on this site leads to the Tank Chats episode on the Mk II.
https://forum.axishistory.com/viewtopic ... 3&t=159016

Second, reference to use by Australians in North Africa and Abyssinia, and with Indian troops in Birmania
https://www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/ww2/ ... II-III.php

Third, drawings, photos etc
https://www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/ww2/ ... t_MkIV.php

http://www.wardrawings.be/WW2/Files/1-V ... Action.htm
http://www.worldwar2database.com/gallery/wwii0108
https://arcaneafvs.com/light2.html

And yes, it is a very ugly looking tank and probably not that good, but it was used in combat operations in quite a few places (and was used for training in a few others).
