EVENTS:
Rome has conquered Dacia, though pro-Ostrogothic elements remain. Its raiding force was repulsed however in Assyria, while Sassanid allies from Aran ravaged its client state in Armenia.
The Ostrogoths conquered the Frankish-allied principality of Alamannia, and raided and pillaged Magna Graecia.
The Dumnonians defeated a pro-Saxon pretender in Bernicia, lodging in firmly within their sphere of influence. German tribes in Suebia, fearing Frankish influence in their region, reached out to the Romano-British kingdom for support. Across the Irish sea, however, a coalition of southern Irish kings with an eye toward raiding Britain began to seek a Saxon alliance.
The Frankish-allied Moravians finally settled in Bohemia, strengthening the Frankish presence in central Europe.
Slavic tribes in Venedae accepted the overlordship of the Gepid king.
The Liang-Wei contention was stalemated in central China, with a Wei force repulsed in the region of Chu. The nomadic Yujiulu confederacy however conquered the frontier province of Yunzhong, in the far north of the Yellow River bend.
In the eastern Tibetan plateau, Wei allies in Amdo crushed the forces of a neighboring pro-Yujiulu power, while in Kham, Liang raiders defeated a feudatory of the Yarlung dynasty.
On the remote Talas river, a pro-Wei migratory horde was repulsed by local tribes and resigned itself to looking elsewhere for a home.
The Guptas seized the province of Telangana from their southern rivals, the Pallavas.
The Hunas got the better of the Sassanids in the endless fighting along their borders in Afghanistan and central Asia, though battles were bloody and in the end they had little to show for their efforts but the names of some victories to carve onto their stelae.
In southern Arabia, the Himyarids did not stage any new campaigns, but their former rivals in northern Yemen finally acceded to the changing balance of power in the region and accepted an alliance as their junior partner.
