Re: Special league Tournament
@notjustdon I believe that it has been explicitly stated in other tournaments (probably best to ask Stockwellpete) that you can change the make up of your army as long as you use the same army type, otherwise it's like saying that all footballers have to wear the same pair of boots in every match because no one has explicitly said that they can change them. It's illogical to start from such a premise.

Re: Special league Tournament
in fact I've even managed to dig out a quote from a recent tournament (albeit for 500pts), this, to my knowledge, has always been the default:
Rules of games:
- Armies will consist of 500 pts
- You may customize your army before each match

Thanks for the game and well played. A deserved victory.NikiforosFokas wrote:NikiforosFokas' Romans wins against Edmund_Blackadder Graeco-Bactrian (77% vs 100%). A match than Richard was close to victory even if the bad terrain was against his cavarly-based army. Thanks for the nice game!!!
Re: Special league Tournament
Sorry about taking so long about this. there's a question about twiking your army. As long as it is the same army but just adjusted there is no problem. Sorry but I didn't think of making a rule. As long as it's the same army I see no problem.
Okie
I also just used the same list as it seemed optimal. But what would I know! I've lost most of my Battles!!

Re: Special league Tournament
It is stated in the brief rules overview at the start that FOG Digital rules would be used. Changing composition is a corner stone of the FOG Digital League rules. So there ya go Okie you had it in there all the time.notjustdon wrote:My impression was that we all picked a 600pt army and you stuck with it all the way through with no changes. Nothing was said that changes could be made depending upon the army being played against and so I didn't. Could Okie clarify the situation please as I feel some players could have gained a possible advantage by chopping/changing armies to suit who they are facing!

Re: Special league Tournament
Results:
Allendeuce's Bosporans 48/53 (91%) defeat ironclad's Romans 48/47 (100%).
As can be assessed by the score, this was a tight, close game all the way. I turned his right flank, sorta, and he was crushing my right flank, so my right strategically withdrew; all right, they ran like sissy girl scouts, and so the battle pivoted from north/south to east/west orientation, and my right avoided his left long enough that my left (barely) won over his right.
Great game, Ironclad! A blast from start to finish!

A challenge for Nakedcelt vs my Principate Romans 160-196 AD.
I had thought I'd played most everyone but neibanlucky but noticed I still needed to play you.
