Division E for Efficacy
Barrold713 (Saka/Skythian) defeats MarcoCato75 (Seleucid) 58-30
Faced with a phalanx of phalanxes, I decided to do a very wide sweep of my lights and cav to the very top of the map to secure a rough patch, while maneuvering my heavy troops and cataphracts to hold a line. It seemed like I succeeded in bunching up the infantry while my strike force could attrite his cataphracts and cav which allowed me to get some very timely flank attacks. I was fortunate that my troops were able to hold on when attacked enough to rout enough for the win.
Thanks for the match
Cheers

Division D for Determined
Barrold713 (Sword Brethren) outlasts Troglius (Baltic Tribes) 59-55
A slugging match from the start with a last minute rally to drop the score below 60. The end game went back and forth so it could have ended either way.
Great match

Division A
harveylh - Andalusian 756-1049 AD defeats XLegione - Dailami 928-1055 AD with Armenian allies 885-1045 AD, 49-13
On a wide-open battlefield with limited rough terrain, the Dailami infantry do not match up well with the heavy Arab infantry and lancers. Thanks for the game.

Division F
LindsayCole: Macedonian 320-261BC with Greek 280-228 BC allies drew with Olddog52: Thessalian 404-353 BC 28-26
Olddog52 and I are old friends that came into the DL together. This battle was a draw 28-26. A fitting result. My opponent made me work for every point. I held a lead for a short time, that slipped away from me by the skillful use of the terrain by my opponent. Just to prove the point, I had to cross the river twice to get after his inferior infantry at the expense of my Cav and light troops. Just another example of how only I can snatch defeat from victory. Not to diminish the skillful play of my opponent who again has found a way thump me. We will meet again my friend, and soon I'm sure.
As an addendum to the score, the final score was 56-53, the score posted above was on the final screen that was resulted post the battle.

Triarii - Portugese 1200-1319 AD with Berber (Marinid) 1244-1319 allies (1600) defeats paulmcneil - Byzantine (Italy) 1040-1049 AD (1600) 62-42
After the Portugese knights and camels had chased off Byzantine lancers (quite a long way) they took their own sweet time coming back to help out their foot who were being systematically chewed up by angry Varangians. Thankfully there weren't too many Varangians and the cavalry arrived in time.
Cheers Paul.

Division C
SawyerK (Lysimachid 320-281 B)) defeated snooky51 (Roman 105-25 BC) by 58 to 32.
Rear attacks from the Lysimachid heavy cavalry on engaged Roman units proved decisive in the victory against the very tough and well led legionnaires.
