No, you need to slow down a bit. He hasn't chosen an army yet and it would be better if you let him get a couple of matches under his belt before playing him, otherwise he is going to be at a disadvantage having only just joined the tournament.

Division C

Ironclad (Kingdom of Soissons/Germans) defeated Rob123 (Arab-City/Sassanid) 64-45

Facing a much better balanced and more mobile foe, the Kingdom's army opted for a defensive position flanked by woodlands. The Arabs skilfully unhinged and destroyed the Kingdom's left flank forcing the latter to launch a full infantry assault before the enemy enveloping units could do mortal damage. Once close combat became general the Arabs, despite their deadly elephants were worn down by the better fighting Kingdom infantry. Good game, thanks.
