Weekly round-up
pantherboy has a firm grip on Division A with 5 wins from 6 starts. His main challenger now is likely to be klayeckles who he has just started his matches with. Nothing at all to report from Division B this week. The contest in Division C now hinges on what happens in the matches between ray552, who is top, and Captainwaltersavage, who is third. Captainwaltersavage needs to win at least one of those matches to have any chance of taking the top spot. random27, currently in second place, cannot do that now as he has finished his matches. Still wide open in Division D where everybody seems to be beating everybody else, but in Division E Giacofa93 has finished on 32 points, which means that bottom-placed Kroche is the only player who can now equal that total and tie the division. To do this he needs to win all of his remaining 6 matches without dropping a point.

Unbeaten runs of 3 matches or more
pantherboy (Division A) 3 matches
SpeedyCM (Division B) 3 matches

Match completion rate (30 matches in total to be played in each division)
Division A - 16 out of 30 matches completed
Division B - 16 out of 30 matches completed
Division C - 18 out of 30 matches completed
Division D - 8 out of 30 matches completed
Division E - 23 out of 30 matches completed

These are very good match completion rates, except for Division D which is slow.

Player of the Week: pantherboy (Division A) with 3 wins this week. :D

Weekly round-up
A first defeat for Nosy_Rat (Andalusian) by second-placed ericdoman1 (Irish) has tightened things up at the top of Division A with a group of players, including harveylh (Berber Morabit), tyronec (Ghibelline), ConstantinIX (Berber Almohad) and Snugglebunnies (Papal) all waiting to take advantage of any further slip-ups. oscarius (Kingdom of Sicily) is relegated. Still quiet in Division B where CyberHetman (Berber Murabit) leads from Geffalrus (Tuareg). Warg1 (English) is still the leader in Division C but he has now suffered 3 defeats and is likely to be overtaken soon by one of kraff (Sword Brethren), who is second with 4 straight wins, Captainwaltersavage (German) and edb1815 (Ghibelline). TaBai (Castilian) is looking firm favourite now to take the automatic promotion place in Division after posting his seventh win. Kroche (English), who has started with 2 wins, looks the most likely to mount a challenge now. A first defeat for leader Jack-3kBattery in Division E does not look to be too damaging as his lead is still 8 points from GraftMalt (German) and Tratmot (also German).

Unbeaten runs of 3 matches or more
ConstantinIX (Division A) 3 matches
harveylh (Division A) 3 matches
CyberHetman (Division B) 3 matches
kraff (Division C) 4 matches
TaBai (Division D) 7 matches
ulysisgrunt (Division D) 3 matches
GraftMalt (Division E) 3 matches

Match completion rate (45 matches in total to be played in each division)
Division A - 22 out of 45 matches completed
Division B - 9 out of 45 matches completed
Division C - 23 out of 45 matches completed
Division D - 18 out of 45 matches completed
Division E - 25 out of 45 matches completed

These are excellent match completion rates, except for Division B which is slow.

Player of the Week: Ta Bai (Division D) with 4 wins to go top of the table. :D

Division A

harveylh - Gallic 300-101 BC with Samnite 355-272 BC allies defeats Cunningcairn - Thracian (Getae) 279 BC-46 AD with Thracian (Triballi) 350 BC-46 AD allies 65-44

A different game as the cunning Thracians used the terrain to maximum advantage forcing the Gauls to attack a steep hill to win the game. The Gauls were fortunate to win the battle on the last possible turn. Very good game.

Division A

harveylh - Gallic 300-101 BC with Samnite 355-272 BC allies defeats Morbio - Samnite 355-272 BC, 60-46

Much of the battle was fought on two steep and difficult ridges where the Samnite veterans excelled. Fortunately between the two ridges was some open terrain where the Gaul warbands dominated and that was the difference. Good game.

Hi to everyone!

I am moving and my new home is in job. I am very busy and the main problem to me is I have not internet for now, so some matches are stoped since severals days. I expected have internet days before, but builders did some things wrong and they have to solve this issue before the specialist can install internet.

I think Players can proclaim victory after 7 days waiting, so you can do it if you want or you can hold the match some days more. I will play as soon I could. I use to play faster but I am totally swamped and I cannot play for now. I hope my internet will be installed next days.

Thanks and sorry for the situation

Please do not claim any matches with mr cholo under the 7 day rule. I will not accept such claims - stockwellpete 27/6

Division B

Nijis (Khorasanian, Arab allies) defeats ulysisgrunt (Germans, Magyar allies) 57-30.

A steep ridge overlooking a marsh gave the Khorasanians' fierce Daylamite medium infantry and bowmen a safe base from which to strike at the maneuvering Germans. Thanks to ulysisgrunt for the battle!

Division B

Aetius39 (Lysimachid) defeats IMC (Galatian) 52-21

An early flank and break in the right side of the Galatians helped break up that whole side eventually, although the Lysimachid right was not doing too well in the end. GG!

Division C

snooky51 (Parthian 250 BC - 225 AD) defeats TomoeGozen (Roman 285-312 AD with Frankish 26-495 AD allies) -- 61-40

An early lead by the Romans was cut entirely when the Parthians had an extremely fortunate turn. From there one it was a sloppy battle with the Parthians eventually gaining the edge with repeated flank charges on isolated Romans.
