Division C
edb1815 (Italian Ghibelline w/ Imperial ally) defeated joggy (Aragonese) 60-44
I seem to have defeated our division leader! The RNG was with me this time. A close match could easily have gone the other way. Well played.

Division D
Giacofa93 (Frankish 751-887 AD) defeats tmac11 (Dabuyid 642-760 AD) 53-14
____
The Frankish cavalry is hidden in the forest, waiting to come out at the right moment. The shieldwall line extends to their right, in front of a vast plain, facing a fearsome horse archer army. But something is off...the rumours travelling from mouth to mouth mentioned a large infantry force together with the nomads, and yet such an army is not here to be seen...is the renowned Dailami infantry maybe lurking in the woods on the other side of the plain?
At a great cost of lives the Frankish lancers drive off the horse archers, supported by the slow advance of the infantry. But as the persian infantry refuses to come out in the open, it is slowly but surely surrounded and its wooden hiding place becomes its wooden coffin.

Captainwaltersavage - German Imperial 1200-1319 AD defeats Warg1 - English 1155-1271 AD with Scot 1155-1161 AD allies 41:14
I started on a very nice set of hills but misjudged the English set up and had to rapidly run away to prevent my right flank being overwhelmed by a host of knights and mounted sergeants. The English also sent a load of Irish troops through the woods on my left flank and it started looking a bit bleak. Things started to swing the German way when some overexcited sergeants chased some mounted crossbows towards my right flank and died under a hail of crossbow bolts. Some Irish troops tried to support them and also were shot to pieces. More irish troops exited the woods on the left and were caught by some armoured spears and with the aid of some German sergeants broke another unit. The main event was the conflict on the right centre of my line when my spears and foot knights fought it out with the English knights. The English Knights bounced enough times and with the aid of some crossbows on the hill behind the flower of English chivalry were worn down and finally broke. Along the rest of the line the German spears seemed to get the better of the encounters and when the German Knights joined in the fight on the left flank it swung massively towards the Germans. Credit goes to the mounted sergeants on my left flank who stoically stood facing the Irish hiding in the woods for the entire battle. I think the crossbows won that battle for me. Warg1 played a great game and had me worried that my line was going to collapse when several combats all went my way at once.

Kroche (Arab 1000-313BC) defeated olddog52 (Arab 1000-313BC) 50-24
Lots of action in this match up both sides going for it until the end. My forces made good contact at the start and could just about hold the flanks to see it to the end.GG

Warg1 - Pyrrhic 274-272 BC (1600) defeats TomoeGozen - Achaemenid Persian 480-461 BC (1600) 52 - 25
Fair play to TomoeGozen who agreed to a re-roll on the terrain after our first game looked like it would be taking place in the Alps. Always a pleasure playing you Sir.

Division D
wmpryor (Andalusian 756-1049 AD) defeats Doyley50 (Anglo-Danish 1017-1041 AD) 48-9
My numerically superior cavalry and good defensive terrain on my flanks helped me win this one.
The Huscarls were bludgeoning my center but my troops held on long enough to turn the tide.
Good game.
