Re: "Kaiserschlacht" WWI Campaign - Release Planned for Apri
Additional questions for unit support:
BNC, do you need also specific units:
-French soldiers with the characteristic blue-grey uniforms and helmet?
-Stromtroopers for both sides with heavy armament (trench mortar, machine gun, flame thrower)?
-Big fat artillery (mortar, mine thrower, howitzer)?
...And...Does anyone make additional landscape tiles with artillery/bomb marks/holes?

I think it would be great to have all these, and maybe even more over time, but it will be a mamoth job which will keep you occupied for a while.BNC, do you need also specific units:

I think it would be great to have all nations represented correctly in a true WWI style (and please no submachine guns before 1918!), not to mention all the artillery pieces. Maybe some of the WWI era artillery icons could be used as well that I made for the Battlefield: Europe mod.

Are there any Americans in the mod? I imagine they would be in 1918 scenarios, like Georgette, or Paris 18.

You see those in All the 1918 scenarios except uk18. They usually appear in large numbers (over 100 in Mons18!)LandMarine47 wrote:Are there any Americans in the mod? I imagine they would be in 1918 scenarios, like Georgette, or Paris 18.

Question again for BNC:
Is it possible to make a screen shot, where we can see all of the new existing units with WW1 style? Then all of the modders can imagine, which units we can make additional and deliver for the highest level of gameplay fun.
Otherwise we make not used stuff or the false...???

Re: "Kaiserschlacht" WWI Campaign - Release Planned for Apri
I've provided a list of all the stuff I need, most of which I haven't added yet. The tanks and zeppelins have been added, but that's all as yet. When I get all of the fighters in the list provided earlier, I will set those up as well (most likely in a 1.1 patch)asuser wrote:asuser wrote:Additional questions for unit support:

Another idea for poison gas unit:
1.Making a special new artillery icon
2.Coloring the attack graphic from white to a more yellow/green...
3.Thinking about the damage effect...?
Interesting?

I can guarantee a April 10 release, all the stuff is done! (I would release it now but have announced for Thursday, so think it is better to wait)

Re: "Kaiserschlacht" WWI Campaign v1.0 Released
Kaiserschlacht is released!
https://www.mediafire.com/?nfqztwn9lknsdqi
As with War of the world, you will require the GME. Copy the folder into C:/.../Panzer Corps/MODS and then enable the mod with GME. Campaign is found in the more campaigns tab, where you find the DLC campaigns 39-45.
Let me know what you think, and what should be improved with v1.1

Finally done! If only I could play it! (I'd probably get massacred by the time I entered 1916

Are there no transports? My troops (especially artillery) are taking forever to get anywhere.
Re: WWI Kaiserschlacht Campaign v1.0 RELEASED!
Hi friends of the WW1 theme,
as I said at another point, there is something to go and to make to get a fullfilled "complete" WW1 mod. BNC was the trigger, to make the first step into that theme. Thanks!
I understand it in that very first way: Create a new strategy with the existing map and try to play it.
If we want it all, then we have to think about the missing stuff:
-All Units in the perfect PC style with the vanilla angle (definitely better graphic style in my eyes)
-Missing Units: Infantry with the characteristic uniforms/helmets, additional tanks, additional fighter and bomber planes, trucks for troop transport and AA, big artillery and mortars, ships, submarines, modificated tiles with trenchlines and bunkers...
For this we need a little bit more time...
So, I want to say: BNC you are not alone, some modders and I want to support you with the missing stuff...

Sadly there are no transports. I did try to add them but couldn't get it to run properly. Artillery are really too strong to be given almost infinite mobility.Ice5643 wrote:Are there no transports? My troops (especially artillery) are taking forever to get anywhere.

Re: WWI Kaiserschlacht Campaign v1.0 RELEASED!
Congratulations for the release of the first WWI mod for PzC!
It is great that this deadline was not changed - I think in this way Schleiffen plan can be started in the 24th hour and the stormtroopers can finally start their march in-game, instead of harrassing the members of this beautiful community in their own houses!
Also I think it would be nice to see more varied artillery units: light, medium, heavy artillery and howitzers and cannons.

I am second to this, though. I think it would be much better to have a WWI-era mod with WWI-era unit icons. But, I am fully aware that it is not a one-man job to create all the necessary icons for a new era and even for a small, but dedicated team it would take some time. Anyway, I (re-)upload the icons that I previously made and which could be used with any WWI mod in that other WWI icon topic. I hope that over time there will be more and more proper WWI icons appearing there.asuser wrote:

What was the problem? If you want I can add transport to the artillery of your mod. Horse transport was commonly used to move those guns and I have horse transport icon for each major nation.Sadly there are no transports. I did try to add them but couldn't get it to run properly. Were siege mortars still in use?
