Sorry for a beginner question - are we supposed to play each player in our division once? Or do we just play a total of 3 matches against whomever we choose? Or something different from either of these?

Also, I wasn't sure when we listed our armies an option to include allies as I saw most people just listing base armies in their indication of 4 armies. When were we supposed to indicate allies? I'm okay not having them, but for next time I'd like the option.

You play everyone once so 9 games in the main divisions. Some armies benefit from allies. You have to list your allies when making your choices at the start. Up to you if you want them or not.
