Division C
SawyerK with the Frankish 495-599 AD army and Breton ally defeated BishUK leading the Roman 197-284 AD army and Arab ally by 59-33.
The Franks were fortunate to line up their superior warbands to take on the Roman legionnaires and then benefited from the regular warband attack impact on the Roman auxiliaries. The success of the Franks foot troops was necessary as the Roman and Arab cavalry made mincemeat of of their opposition.

Division A
Triarii - Kingdom of Soissons 461-486 AD with Germanic Foot Tribe 260-599 AD allies defeats sunnyboy - Germanic Horse Tribes 260-492 AD with Dacian (Carpi) 107-380 AD allies 63-49
A brutal contest between an 80% foot force vs an 80% mounted on a flat open field.
The combination of warbands and Roman legionaries overwhelmed and saw off the limited Frankish foot and a significant number of mounted troops while a substantial number of low quality Roman foot and the few Roman cavalry kept too many quality Germanic horse occupied chasing said foot, rabbit like, away from the main fight. By the time those cavalry were returning the Romans just scraped over the line.

Division B
Triarii - Teutonic 1226-1319 AD with Polish 1200-1319 AD allies defeats paulmcneil - English 1155-1271 AD with South Welsh AD 1100-1197 allies 60-44
A lucky German deployment got the Welsh spears and bows tangled trying to climb one side of a hill into the face of massed cross-bows dismounted knights and armoured spearmen while massed Teutonic knights hovered on their flank forcing the English knights to come to them at a disadvantage. Meanwhile the English spearmen and other cavalry were stuck trying to force their way up the other face of the hill. Thanks for the game.

Division A
Triarii - Spanish 900-1049 AD with Andalusian 756-1049 AD allies (1600) defeats Nosy_Rat - Ghaznavid 962-1187 (1200) 60-53
A pretty brutal encounter with the Ghaznavids shooting their way into an early lead bolstered by Dailami impact that finally foundered on Spanish lancers - very easily gone the other way.
Notable for possibly the longest ever Elephant vs spear contest I have ever seen. It involved only two units which the rest of the battle contrived to swirl past, in both directions, on all sides - it lasted for about 9 turns and was still going at game end - probably still is!

Division F
Herode_2 - Kingdom of Soissons 461-486 AD draws with phlewis - Roman 197-284 AD with Armenian 331 BC-252 AD allies : 62-60
A very close victory which is in fact a real draw, it's just about a few men being more exhausted than the others.
Thanks for the game Pat & good luck for the next battles.

Division E
sarmation (Saka with Greek allies) defeat General Kostas (Median with Cimmerian allies) 61-39
a much more balanced game than the score appears i was very lucky in the end with some lucky dice .. a draw could have been the right score but the God of War made his choice. great game and opponent

Division F
CyberHetman (Bosporan 11-375AD+Roman allies) beats Malabar26 (Lombard) 43:16
Favourable terrain (a lot of forests which limited the activity of horses and a hill in the middle) and a few fortunate meles helped to win.
