harveylh - German (North/West) 1200-1319 AD with German (Imperial) 1200-1319 AD allies defeats klayeckles - Irish 1131-1259 AD with Anglo Irish 1167-1274 AD allies, 56-30

Good game, one spearman unit attacking uphill was the hero. The Irish routed dismounted knights on both flanks of the spear but never were able to beat the spearman.

While the first Time Control check is primarily used to identify any non-starters, the second check is to make sure that there are not any players playing too slowly to complete their matches by the end of the tournament on April 18th.

I have updated all the tables this morning so that I can see the current situation. The requirement is that all players should have completed 3 matches in all the sections that started on February 1st and have completed 1 match in the new High Middle Ages section that started a bit later.

By looking at the tables I can identify three categories of players who currently have not completed sufficient matches to pass the check . . .
i) players who have completed 2 matches
ii) players who have completed just 1 match
iii) players who have not completed any matches in High Middle Ages

I am not too worried about the first group and most of them will probably get their third result in by the end of Sunday, so my main focus will fall on the second and third groups. There are also 3 players currently who fall into more than one category and I shall be contacting them as well.
