desertedfox - Sassanid Persian 224-349 AD with Arab Bedouin allies defeated batesmotel - Roman 313-378 AD with Alan allies 63 - 36
Thx for a tough game which was certainly much closer than it appears on the scoreboard.

gamercb (Egyptian 570-525 BC with Kyrenean Greek 630-461 BC allies) beat Geoffrey.P.Smith (Hebrew 681-586BC with Kushite Egyptian 727-656BC allies) 60-37
The Hebrews are no match for the Egytians with Kyrenean Greek allies since they lost in both battles and we seem to be of a similar standard since the results were so close. Both were great battles.

Division B
Aetius39 (Pyrrhic) defeats IMC (Carthaginian) 45-16
Carthaginians started off unlucky and that streak continued throughout; the Pyrrhic pikes broke through their units easier than usual, and just slowly enveloped them. They put up a brave defense and took some enemy with them, but in the end couldn't come back from the bad rolls. Thanks for playing!

I enjoyed the chariot duels in both games, massed archers and spearmen on both sides put up a great fight. In the end the Kyrenean Greeks just had more staying power? Thanks gamercb for an enjoyable pair of battles. The sides seemed well matched, but a historical bias in favour of Egypt must have been built into the armies...
