Those interesting endings (Uk18 and German Revolution) tell you what happens to the world in the next 20 years!

Hello BNC,

I observe your WWI Project (in memory to the WWI part of Panzer General) with interest.

So I think, the look of the new units is also an important thing to motivate the game players to try that new mod. Eventually, there is a little more fun if the look is more vanilla PC style, maybe... :?:

And with that saying...

...Do you still need some new Icons like planes, ships, artillery...I could help a little bit?

Maybe some people will start commenting if you upload some new screenshots! (Or unleash the full fury of the Stormtroopers, which ever comes first)

Most of the units in the mod are graphics from the base game (Inf, Artillery, AT and AA). I do have some vanilla-style tanks that were made up by Guille a couple months ago, and we are too clsoe to release for me to go and add more.

If you search somewhere in the thread, you will find a list of aircraft I still need done (don't include the Zeppelin or Fokker Dr I), and if you are able to make any of those, I would be happy to add them to v1.1

I noticed that you found this because of the PG mod by McGuba. You will be happy to know that this follows Germany instead and you get A7Vs and other awesome non-AHE stuff (inc. the Uk18 scenario)

The campaign tree has been confirmed for the campaign now:

Core force at the start is 20, the later historical path has 31 slots, and the Uk18 path has 35

For those of you interested in an Entente campaign, who would you rather, British/French or Russia?

What I would really like to see is a Turkish campaign. I do not think that the Turkish involvement was covered by anyone before in detail, and why to make another German, Entetnte etc. campaign? Obviously it would be a somewhat shorter campaign, but I think it would make a very interesting one: the Turks fought on many fronts: Gallipoli, Egypt, Middle East, Caucasus and they even sent smaller forces to the Eastern Front. So they fought just about everyone. Also, it could be extended outside the time frame of WWI as it could start with the Balkan Wars of 1912-13 (or even the Italo-Turkish war of 1911) and would end with the Turkish War of Independence in 1922.

On a second thought, it would not be so short, if it spans 1911-1922...

I'm seriously considering making a British campaign, and it is quite likely that Mesopotamia would make it in. (And Southern Africa). Only issue I can see with a Ottoman campaign is the fact that the Turks only have 1 unit at this stage.

The briefings and everything else are now working - April 10th is official.

Ohh, the mod is nearly coming...

Ok, in the next 2...3 days I will add some WWI stuff in my "Pimp.." thread.

Additional ideas for your mod:

-New Startscreen
-New trench lines with barbed wire obstacles
-Additional city hex fields with destroyed buildings
-New bunker icons

Maybe to add in the following updates.

Greetings!

They might not play it if they know they will end up at that place.
