Thanks, it never occurred to me to fall back with massed archers, as they would likely fail the cohesion test even if they start at 4 squares in front of heavy infantry, the following turn they will be falling back from a 2 square range if the heavy infantry follow up. Might work in difficult terrain if the heavy infantry is slowed down.

The videos are available on Steam on my profile, and have been associated with FOG 2, however it's a struggle to get them listed in the Field of Glory section as I have always dealt directly with Slitherine and don't have a Steam licence. Creating a Steam Guide means doing it all over again with the Steam Guide software. "Before you'll be able to upload tagged content to the Steam community you'll need to own a copy of the product on Steam." "If you’d like to create a guide, you’ll first need to purchase Field of Glory II."

It seems I made a mistake with the Generals video as you say on Steam "SG can provide command control to all units in army, except those under the command of an ally-general." I thought a SG could only affect troops in his own command. Just to be clear, does this then apply to all troops for his inspiration ability and to all nearby troops if he dies/is incapacitated?

That is unfortunate.

Although, I think your Slitherine game keys double as a STEAM key.
