Oh - and I keep on forgetting to ask this. The French had a battle group (just 1) of armoured longbowmen of very high morale and quality called the King's Scots Archer Guard. In all previous rules and even in all electronic versions of historical battles you find mention and options (limited quantity) of such archers. Should the French not have an option for a single 4 or 6 base battle group of Armoured, Superior, Longbow, Swordsmen to be King's Scots Archer Guard. Please. It even sounds cool - King's Scots Archer Guard
I think quite a lot of the posts makes sense and it is great discussing - gives me and surely other players more angles and perspectives on the issue.
Still enjoying the rules tremendously. Has anybody played a HYW with mounted Cav army yet ?
