The sad thing is......35 plus years ago when I was discovering 25mm wargaming minies, the group I met had picked 25mm metal minies because of the greater variety of minies. 1/72nd has come a very long way since the good old days of Airfix soft plastic goodies. We were hooked on the larger size and the metal minies of 25mm Airfix.

As long as you agree on basing conventions, the size of the miniatures should not matter unless it is some sort of display game.

I too think that 10mm seems to be fairly popular -- especially in my area -- almost all my miniatures are 10mm

My little group of old fart wargamers chose 25/28mm. Not only that............we, we chose to use 1 and 1/2 half inch length MUs........WELL...I am out of here for now. :wink:

One thing that's nice about 10mm is that you can really pack them on the bases, which means that your units are actually going to look like units instead of just squads.
