Polaris Sector 1.04b Open Beta

And here we go again. Early game, normal, two Urgan Corvettes, travel 14,350 H.U. from their homeworld to one of my new colonies. They never stopped-- I was following them with a Scout. Several uncolonized systems in between. They besiege it for a couple of months then move on another few thousand H.U to an empty system.

TWO CORVETTES (with normal weapon loads) traveled over FOURTEEN THOUSAND H.U. w/o a refuel stop. My FRIGATES (still a couple of hundred years away) usual range is only 9K or so.

This is just silly.

You know, I am getting blasted tired of being treated like a second class citizen. I bought direct from Matrix (more money for them) and what do I get? - no news and no access to the beta. The beta should be pushed out to direct customers, not the steamies. What the heck is going on anyway? No news, no beta , no nothing. Is this abandonware now? GIVE US THE BETA!

It is? I bought from Slitherine, ran the updater a few minutes ago and saw "You already have the most recent version of Polaris Sector installed on your system."

Start game -> 1.03c.

Oh well. Maybe tomorrow?

Where can I find the download link? It's not on the http://www.slitherine.com/products/595/downloads/, don't see in on the forum neither.

Update: found the link in the first post of the thread. A bit confusing.

I like that in the game you can choose a race, which in the game 9. Each race has its own characteristics and their ships, which gives the opportunity to experiment. Also you can set the UPS to race at their discretion.
