Actually, it would be quite pleasant if the authors took more responsibility for their various errors and omissions.
At the end of the day, any semantic or logical debates over the rules are their responsibility since they wrote the rules, built the tables, etc. in the first place.
Since Slitherine is obviously working to build this business, a regularly-updated well-organized Errata Sheet would be very helpful to the paying customers.
Reworking the rules and tables to remove any arcane implied logic or assumptions [of which new players would have no knowledge] from the rules also would be helpful.
