It may come as a shock but sometimes people actually seek my out for my professional skills rather than to ask crazy questions about rules interpretations.

Jealousy is so unbecoming ...

Kevin, like any true gentleman, is clearly not one to tittle-tattle.

Jealousy...?

Why would a bunch of fat, balding, middle-aged men be jealous of Kevin for having a friend like that...?

Just out of interest, what is the upper limit for the "middle-aged" bit?

I'm impressed that I got points!

The Later Russians army was an absolute dog of an army.

You know it's bad when your superior horse choose running into vineyard.......

At least Dave Allen and I got to work out who was the better Russian.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Challenge this weekend. This was despite appalling dice on the first day and finishing in “middle-ranking mediocrity”. Thanks to all my opponents (Steve, Chris, Paul, Marc and Dave) for tough but great games.

Congratulations to Nigel for avoiding me and ending up with more points – roll on the Cossacks!

Finally a big thanks to Tim, David and all those involved with putting on this BHGS event.

Great thank you to the organisers of Challenge, to Kevin for looking after FOG R and my 5 opponents for great games over the weekend. I started with a civil war against Paul, then a quick game against Keith and came back to earth against Jim and Ben (I beat him last week in the practice game!!) and finally to Nigel for letting me get 4th place/
