What to do with the Komnenans

Hey Richard, just found a wall painting of a Nubian with a spear and a shield. If you wait a few more minutes I can produce a Nubian knight too or maybe some Nubian elephants!

Whilst its a nice picture we need the context, date, etc. to be able to make any sort if list judgement. My opinion is that he is wearing Egyptian clothes and is more likely to be in Egyptian service than a native Nubian soldier - they are depicted as almost naked by the Egyptians.
