I think the problem is that Supermax'es opponent doesn't think he was cheating. I believe he feels he's entitled to exploit all possibilities within the game. That's why he called it a trick. Some people believe it's the game's fault if they are allowed to do things clearly not intended.
I have played miniatures gaming for a long time, the rules mechanisms often provide 'interesting' opportunites benefit that inexpereinced players haven't yet discovered.

Thats a fact of life, ZOC (zone of control) mechanics are often the culprit, but they are the rules operating as per the rules - this is deliberately breaking rules becuse its a computer program not a 'rule book'.

So I don't buy the logic that its a trick

Well I also agree with you guys.

It pissed me off big time to the point where I immediately stopped the game.

My face must have been a funny sight the moment I opened the turn...

hahaha, well all good we spotted a problem and also probably a go-around for the build limit as well.
