After looking at the pictures again, i have to ask: whats the meaning of the 2nd little number on aircrafts? supply (ammo and/or oil)?

If I am not mistaken, the second number represents the remaining fuel levels.

Fuel indeed. More specifically: the amount of turns an aircraft can stay up before requiring refueling at an airfield or carrier. Large range attack aircraft such as the A6M Zero will have higher starting fuel than heavier, shorter range fighters.

Refueling (and repair) requires landing on the carrier or airfield. In case of the latter, a hangar unit will spawn carrying the aircraft as cargo inside. This means landed aircraft are vulnerable to air AND ground/naval attacks.

Wow, these graphics look awesome. I would say some of them look a bit confusing but I'm sure those kinks will be worked out.
