I was most upset there was no New Zealand and that by implication I'd have to accept Great Britain! Now those that know me, know this will never do!
You can always take "Françe" as nationality :lol: ... or "Ireland" If you want the language but not the rest of your ancient masters. :wink: .

Ok, I already changed it and I think the new version will be uploadable this evening.

Someone good enough in italian for translate a list with the official term from the italien version.

Cannes, at the moment I want to go, so I can learn from the French experts :) Do you need early confirmation?

I was able to make a moderately viable army in DBM, but it relied on having one massive cmd. I was able to absorb a lot of punishment but was always wider than opposing strike troops. The Rapa Nui coped fine vs Kn armies but El were it's undoing. I don't think it would be as viable under FOG. It was not a large DBM army nor would it be a large FOG one. I think it would be simply ridden down by Kn and Lancer Cv.
Perhaps I should "give it a go" and see?

On 2nd thoughts, perhaps a new thread should be opened on Rapa Nui rather than fill up this one:-)

Can anyone help me with what the "Attrition Point Value" box is supposed to do?

I've made a list which contains 13 BGs and the value shown in this box is "1-1-2-2-3-3-4-4-4-5-5-10" which doesn't mean much to me :cry:

Yes I can :D .
In fact, if you use Terry's system, it's the point you give to your opponent per attrition point. Ex for 2BG broke and one FRAG you lose 5 attrition point so you chek the fivth number "3" so you give him 3 points. It's only an aid for comps but now it's implemented and I can easiluy change it when an official system was finalised.

I think it may have an error in the pre battle initiative calculation. I don't seem to get a +1 for a FC or IC.
Since V 1.6 Bonus are added when you put "CinC" on the "special" column +1 for FC, +2 for CinC ( write in the read me :wink: )

Ciao Olivier,

Is it calculating cataphract camels correctly for initiative? Type is Ct, special is camelry,
but it doesn't seem to be included in the mounted count - which just says camelry in
the rules, I don't think it excludes cataphract camels?

I tried inputting them as type Cv to get round it, but the points calculation faults on
Superior, Heavily Armoured, Undrilled, Lancers, Swordsmen, Camelry :)

The rules say that heavily armoured camelry are treated as catafracts - see the glossary - so I would assume they count for initiative as catafracts; a bit silly if they weren't. It does require you treat them as an exception to the initiative section though, which isn't perfect :cry:

I'd thought of that. Problem is it says, as I'm sure you know, for initiative "... bases of cavalry,
light horse, camelry or light chariots..."

Ie specifically camelry with no distinction (cf the chariot distinction).

I suppose you could always change it to read non-cataphract camelry, assuming the
intention is not to count them.
