Good to know. I had suspected that the XT clone running Windows for Workgroups that you use as a server was being overtaxed.

On a more serious note, I have a question about the in game purchases. When we make a purchase, are we unlocking a campaign that is already installed, or are we downloading the whole campaign?

I ask because space is at a premium on my 16 GB iPad and I find myself switch out apps on a regular basis. Thanks!

Purchasing any of the expansions will not add appreciably to the size of the app on disk.

Really? Well, it shows up in the Campaign list on my iPad as available for purchase. I wonder how many frustrated customers are trying to DL it but not posting or reading here? Maybe you should patch that and remove it from the list until its actually available? I wasted a couple of hours trying to DL the thing, logging into iTunes again, checking my settings and searching the forum for a non-existent post explaining the issue...

Unfortunately a patched app would take longer to get through approval than we are likely to have to wait on the IAP. It's definitely confusing and annoying for players and we are praying for a swift resolution.

I have the game registered at Matrixgames in my members list but it says "no downloads available" I think I bought it through Slitherine, been awhile how come you guys haven't syncronized yet so we can redownload the game through either site after a purchase if we registerer it? like i said it is registered at Matrixgames but I can't redownload it there.

Combining the two sites is a huge undertaking. If you purchased the game via the Slitherine site, then email support@slitherine.co.uk with your order details and they will get you a new download link.

When I try to do a Mac download of the 2.3 update, I get nothing for a long time, then eventually (after several minutes) a window pops up saying: "Safari can't open the page, unknown error". What's going on here? I've paid for Rommel in Normandy, but can't play because I can't get 2.3 to download.

No downloading at all, then, eventually, the message "unknown error".

I have just checked with two different systems using different ISP connections and I've downloaded it successfully.

Still couldn't get the BA link-to site to work, but the gamershell site worked fine. Thanks for the link to it.

where can i find a manual or a post of how to play BA on the I Pad? something that tells about all the units and what they do. also what the updates have added and how to use the new stuff?

There is no list of units and what they do in the manual but on the pre mission screen every unit in your force has a text description and you can also bring up the detailed tooltip option which has that info in game from the options menu.
