Guderian, Rommel and Manstein

I think the original suggestions Patton Eisenhower any Monty are fine. This is still a beer and prezels game for most people after all and the names should reflect that. In reality Rommel was far from as brillians as people are made to believe and Guderian pretty much declared himself the father of blitzkrieg while that idea was already developed during WW1 and other people pushed it for ww2. Guderian was just the only one writing a book about it.
So the brilliance is not really the point. The common knowledge is. And if you ask people to name 3 allied generals of ww2, I'm sure Eisenhower Patton and Monty will be the first to be named.

Georgy Zhukov should be an obvious choice. I'd put him in for Manstein since he kicked Manstein's butt at times

You could include Freyberg. When one of the British generals complained that the New Zealand troops wouldn't return salutes Freyberg said (and I'm going from memory so feel free to post the actual quote) something along the lines of
Have you tried waving? They usually wave back.
Got to admire a general who values his troops more than the feelings of the other grown ups!
