Sure, no problem. I only went through this stuff as I was looking on how to make content available for the iPad :D.

I did download the file and it needs some minor changes to look like this.
FILENAME Fuel_Depot.lst

[0]
NAME Fuel_Depot.CPF
SHOWNAME Fuel_Depot
DESC Fuel_Depot.CPF
MAKER Jcb989
TYPE 1
SIZE 17
#URL https://www.dropbox.com/l/5wSDeWO4t36lqJ8XUYIrff?dl=1
Also, it has to be saved as .lst to work, not .lst.txt.

okay bear with me then and we will get it.
I also found GL88's instructions step by step on how to make this work, I didn't even have things right in what .lst (.txt oops lol) was pointing to... stand by

It almost works, the last link you posted, you only need to have the text inside the lst in order, and save it as .lst and it should be fine.

It still takes me to another screen from where I can download it. I checked it and looks good, but still has .lst.txt instead of .lst, but can't download on iPad yet. We are getting close. :)

Try to disable "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options and then simply remove the .txt if it's already there in the name of the file.

Later edit: tried the last link and still getting me to another window from where to download the file, and still .lst.txt.

I'm sure the guys that keep posting .lst files will help out.

I have all extensions viewable. says "Jcb989_Fuel_Depot.lst" over here? I did create it in Notepad so I don't doubt I have messed up somehow.
I guess we sit tight and wait for the cavalry to arrive... oh the humanity

Yup, sounds like it should be ok. Tried to download it on iPad, by following the link above and then copying the link for the "Download" button, but it gives me an error when trying to download the map.

Hey Jcb, Looks promising!

You're nearly there. I've downloaded your .LST.TXT and that works fine once it's renamed to a .LST (in TextEdit on a Mac, just choose File... and then Rename...).
The BA campaign downloader then correctly recognises your .LST but falls over when it tries to connect to your .CPF

Is your .CPF saved in the Public folder of your Dropbox account?
Is https://www.dropbox.com/l/5wSDeWO4t36lqJ8XUYIrff?dl=1 definitely the correct link for your .CPF file?
Double check by going back into Dropbox then your Public folder, then choose your .CPF, then right click and choose "Copy Public Link".
It will normally look something like this -> http://dl.dropbox.com/u/31228617/Temp/P ... ropean.jpg

Substitute that back into your .LST and then we're off to the races! Good luck Justin.

PS. Then use bitly if you'd like to shorten the long Dropbox name to something like Bit.ly/JcbsFuelDepot
;-)

Thanks Jon

Strangely I do not see "Copy Public Link" as an option in my version of dropbox. I see, "Share Link" which I presume is the same.
One of the links above is the .CPF file stored there, repeated below, with other files though.
I will have to see what I should do or if there is an error there when I get home from work today.. but you could open the link and try to see?

It looks like Random has picked up both games, that I posted thus far, for a little "mirror-action"

==Repeating this post==
I have successfully completed the reinforcement scripts generously started for me by Amaris!

THE SCENARIO IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR ALPHA PLAY-TESTING,
TO HELP DETERMINE FINAL GAME BALANCE, I NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE

Here the URL to copy the zip file from, to unzip into "Multiplayer":
https://www.dropbox.com/l/5wSDeWO4t36lqJ8XUYIrff

I know it is working for PC players if you grab the zip file and drop it into the right folder of the game.
I am struggling with understanding how to make things simple for iPad users but we'll get that fixed shortly.
I will also learn how to link a URL for community in-game download for final release.

***BE ADVISED***
My victory conditions are weak and stupid right now, and also conclude in reverse (it tells Germans they lost, if they win  )
Also, I hope to get some additional special code from Amaris to add some gameplay feature of interest here.
We will see what he may do. :D

***SPOILERS ALERT***

US side scenario notes
===================
The Germans are coming with a heavy tank force. But! You can defeat them if you plan a good defense.
There are many narrow pathways they must navigate to get to the fuel depots of Honsfeld.
You must decide when is a good time to fall back and give up flags, each flag they get gives them more
over-powering forces of evil to attack you. Your reinforcements will also prove useful.

German side scenario notes
========================
Even though you have the big boys, they are not as invincible as you might think. cover your flanks wisely
or you could be in for a log jam. Also be careful to not waste your Volksgrenadier support units too badly,
as you may need them to secure the fuel depot proper. Note that all those empty trucks for carrying fuel
will come into play in the final version of the game. You might want to practice not getting them shot full
of holes...also you may want to have your in-game music turned on for this scenario....

Map and General Scenario Notes
===========================
I started with the "Chistmas Surprise" BA map, expanded it, and heavily modified it.
I am using enric code for many scripts, although I already found two items I need to deal with,
one is I have swap unit disabled (I may leave it this way, tbd) and also the camera moves to position
in replay when a vehicle gets bogged down, I know how to fix it just forgot to do it for this pre-release.
Lastly in Squads.csv, I have made some minor modifications which will only become evident once you play into
the scenario some, but they are all subject to review and edit to achieve the proper game play balance.

Enjoy,

Could some poor iPad user try this again for me? Here's the link to the .lst download:

I have bad news and good news.

The bad news is that the link doesn't work directly as is. When you try to run it on iPad it crashes (so did the link you posted earlier today, but I didn't have time to provide feedback).

The good news is that if you go to that link you get to a Dropbox page where the file is it works. Copy the link for the "Download" button and then use that one, the campaign will load on the iPad (previously this trick didn't work as it got me a 760 error).

Anyways, here's the direct link iPad users should use: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/58s7k7rs879qpv ... iYF1Q&dl=1

I have created two games (without passwords).

I have the vague recollection that dropbox links are the same, other than a &dl=1 ending. That is, without the &dl=1 ending it will try and load the page, not the file.

Cheers
