Thanks to Hammy for organising a fun event and to my 3 opponents for good games.

I thought the new venue was good, hopefully we can do it again next year and get some more players.

So, Kevin did you win? Or was Wayne triumphant? Just preparing myself for Wayne's gloating in the week?

I had to leave early when I realised that my hotel package included complimentary G&T's between 6-8, in the executive lounge ! :P :P

Sorry Simon, you'll need to prepare for gloating!

I knew the game wasn't going to go my way when my 4 elite guards, with a general, needing 5 to hit and re-rolling 1-3 rolled 4 4s! Fortunately I'd accumulated enough points from the first 2 games to cling narrowly onto second place.

Can we have the final results posted (or failing that a link to same)? Until I have these I cannot complete the May 2013 rankings. Thanks.

Sorry guys,

I got part way through doing them then got distracted. Then this weekend I bust my achillies so I have been a bit distracted. I will try to get them up tomorrow, if I don't it will be later this week as I think I am having an operation on Tuesday.

Odd question I know, but does anybody remember the name of the sci fi board game being played on our row of tables at the Expo?

Yes, it's Eclipse. It's an excellent game and there's also a very good iPad version.
