Yes we are of course in contact with both sites and working to resolve it but without knowledge of the game how do they know there are no dungeons or rugged defence and we are not just asking for valid bad reviews to be taken down from legitimate users. Its a very messy situation but we work closely with these guys and I'm sure it will get resolved and the IP addresses will get tracked down and we''ve already made great progress. It just a complex thing to explain and resolve so there wont be an instant fixes.

Is Metacritic really THAT important? In all other generes if I have noticed one thing it's that Metacritic ratings are not hugely important. Many games with great ratings sell very very bad and games with bad ratings sell millions and millions.
I imagine that especially in retail most people would just look at the box and decide if they want to purchase it or not?

That apart from the fact that I am talking about the press reviews here. Even worse than the often biased press reviews, anyone who listens to the user reviews on Metacritic (taking them into account is OK) is just really stupid.

Comment and review spamming can be bought from third parties, which are usually in countries across the oceans. Although in this case there seems to be some internal drama which may be to blame.

Good luck with the bounty. Couldn't cross reference anything to my Close Combat website.

Critic and internet are two of the worst possible words to appear in the same sentence. You know one will be full of rubbish and that the 2 combined will have more than twice the rubbish.
In spite of the Final Fantasy character it's pronounced sao-win after the Irish pagan god of death. I'm not a pagan but we're on a wargames website so I thought it fitting.

Disgusting and inexplicable behaviour. You've got to wonder what motivates some people. Anyway, I registered a real review at Metacritic, and at the end put in a note about the need to ignore the false reviews. I guess every little bit will help.

Guys, you've given me a terrific early Xmas present. Well done - PzC and CTGW are right up the top of my all time fav games.
