Just FYI:
If folks new to the game purchase it, make sure they don't get the full GS2.0 install (like I did): CEaW_Full_GS_2.0.exe
It doesn't upgrade properly.

I do apologise for the issues you are experiencing. Unfortunately we do not have an installer that contains CEAW, GS 2.0 and GS 2.10. Try the following:
1. Uninstall CEAW, GS 2.0 and GS 2.10.
2. Uninstall your internet security package.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Reinstall the CEAW, GS 2.0 and then GS 2.10 in that order.
5. Run the game.
If the issue has disappeared then reinstall your internet security package.
I'm a tad reluctant to disable my anti-virus/internet security software - so I haven't tried that yet to see if it works. I'll want to unhook my LAN and disable my wireless before taking that jump and that'll surely raise the ire of the wife and kid

after many (many) attempts I have finanlly managed to get a working version of the official 2.1 release
to do this I had to:
1. remove ALL CEAW files (all of them including those left by the uninstall and all back up copys with a CEAW label) - so essentailly a clean machine as if CEAW didn't exist
2. get the lastest version from slitherine (just the vanilla game, I gave them my old key as proof)
3. install the vanilla game
4. download and run the official 2.1 update
and finally victory is attained (without disabling firewall/antivirus)
to do this I had to:
