I only chose it because it will not need many units painting up in time for Britcon not from any great tactical thinking. Plus it will look very "hollywood". Although having all units bar one as superior, veteran, guard must dig me out of a few on table ineptitude moments :) although doing it in 10mms packed onto 15mm bases may still amount to the same qty of metal.

The heavy cavalry division is drying as I type.

I'm sure paddy will turn me over in about 30mins :)

Cheers
Been trying to find your list it but can't see it.

I'm bring my Westphalians 1812 again

My list is on page 51 of ton. Imperial guard 1812 with Terry's errata of puck either infantry or cavalry as main corps type and mins for the other are discounted. So I've gone cavalry, hence it has a guard heavy cav div, a guard light cav div plus another div.

Hope helps

Is suspect not as well as infantry armies. I'm sure massed shooting dice push the cavalry off than it doesn't. I have an old guard infantry div as my third blob. Be rude not to bring them in a guard list :) I'm painting one unit up as "joop" Dutch old guard and one as standard old guard. Unfortunately the Italian guard grenadier nit was not classed as old guard
, I am tempted to take a bit of artistic licence and paint the up as Italian guard anyway.

Pus I fully expects have hanging flank issues being a small army. But hey, I get to move he pretty units about :)

It should a hard army to play against since they are Guard both foot and Horse width of the army means less IMO in FOG N.

Look forward to seeing them on the table are they essex minuatures?

Depends if I manage to bumble my way through the rules as badly as every on else.... :)

If cav where that good everyone will be using them.... I expect to be outnumbered in BGs by at least a 1/3....

Can someone please lend me a baggage camp for the weekend? Didn't get everything painted in time.
