Maybe hand out the Slitherine 'press release' and handwrite specific move distances where these are required. Of course this won't pick up sentence changes within the body of the v2 rules text. But I'll be able to read these clarifications from my purchased v2 copy off my MAC when required to make a ruling. All a bit clunky but we'll get by.
So you will give out part of the rules? And have a queue for the umpire once anything goes wrong. Umpiring is hard enough as it is. It will be far worse if only a few people can see the totallity of the rules.
If needs must!

I wouldn't suggest doing anything involving copying the rules or attempting to plagiarise them. Its a breach of copyright regardless of whether you do it for gain. About the only excuse (without authors permission) is for private research - and handing out copies at a tournament would be difficult to justify as that.

Far better if Slitherine listen to their customers on their own forum and change policy. Even better if amendments are made available to existing customers free of charge (though I might have to witness a snowball fight in hell first!).

Well, Battlefront listened to their customers and did a partial U turn. Now, they only require 50% of the miniatures to be Battlefront miniatures.

As for FoG, maybe they will follow suit and only need 50% of the rulebook to be digital.

If I sound upset, I am. :/
