Finland is +2. It is, after all, in the same exact spot as Romania time-wise. :)

Hi gents

OK waiting for some summaries and screenshots.

Also

To all players, you may or may not know this.
Go to board preference and click yes on everything. In particular where you will receive an email.
If you have any private messages you will receive an email confirming this.

Therefore players are now contacted through this link, private messages and emails.

See how the 1st round runs with 10 turns

Chris/batesmotel has suggested possible extensions. Have a check at all of your recent results and what has been the average turn time a game has ended?

Maybe rnd 2 = 11 turns, rnd 3 = 12 turns.

I'd like to stick with 10 turns but if the majority wishes more turns I will go with the flow.

stockwellpete (Anglo-Irish, later) 30/50 drew with Todd645 (English HYW) 36/37.

Is that 4pts to me and 3pts to Todd, Eric? :?

The first result

Post by ericdoman1 »

Wow quick game and as close as you can be to an outright win

Just a reminder then

All players begin with 1 pt, that is player A = 1 vs Player B = 1,
casualties inflicted is 0 -25, 0 points,
26 -50 1pt,
51 - 75 2pts,
76 - 100 = 3pts
2 pts for an outright win.

stockwellpete 1 (initial score) + 3 (76-100% casualties, 36/37) = 4
Todd 645 1 (initial score) + 2 (51-75% casualties, 30/50) = 3

But yep you have got it right.

For the rest of the players could you post score as above please

Also

Go to new messages (all players) and then

To all players, you may or may not know this.
Go to board preference and click yes on everything. In particular where you will receive an email.
If you have any private messages you will receive an email confirming this.

Again this should increase the probability of a player receiving a challenge.

Post by ericdoman1 »

Hi Turk

Have pmd Tom as well.

Hopefully all of you can play 3 turns per 2 days. 2 turns a day would be stunning but based on some time differences prob impossible.

Just wondering if you'd like to pm me your scores from now on.

I will wait until all scores have been received and then post the results and the 2nd round draw.

Will keep everybody in suspense with ref to who plays whom?

Scots in Britain (early), (Sharkall) vs HYW English (continental) Early, (cavehobbit)

An animation of the battle so far. To reduce the size of the file I've decreased the number of colours if you think it looks a bit strange.
