I intend to do something in Russia in winter, but I won't have much in the way of forces. His last blitz went further than I thought it could and really hurt.

Elsewhere, I am trying to probe his weaknesses. As usual he abandoned Africa completely and is defending in Sicily - I've got one corps ashore there but not really ready for a full scale landing. Europe, I'll have to wait for the Spring but will have to land something. Note, that he has his FJR and 3 German Corps in France in anticipation of a Sledgehammer landing.

About all over except the shouting.

Morris has captured Maikop and is trying to seal off the Caucasus from both rail and shipping reinforcement by also taking Astrakhan. I've reinforced Astrakhan and the MECH unit will hit his ARM - can only hope I get mud next turn.

Do you have any wonder weapons or is the situation as hopeless as it looks on those SCs?

It is pretty hopeless. If we get mud next turn I might be able to salvage something but...

More bad news - 7 step MECH outside Leningrad taken out making Leningrad vulnerable next winter unless I can make a rail link.

Elsewhere, I took out a MECH near Grozny and cutoff the ARM in Orenberg and it should fall soon. US joins in end of turn and the Siberian reserves are released.
