When you say "I can make a copy of the SE Pz.IIIG commit/save" do you mean

1. You are clicking on unit no. 20, the PzIIIG unit click "Add", making some changes and then clicking "commit"

I only ask this because you have used the word "copy" so I just wanted to make sure I understood correctly. Now, after this, you save the file and the date in the saved equipment file is reversed. So, just before you click "Save" the date displayed in the date control is 2 July 1942 but when saved, the date that is saved is 7 February 1942. Also, this error only occurs when editing the PzIIIG and PzIIIJ/1 but NOT the the SE Pz.IIIG. It's pretty strange that it is only happening on selected units so there must be something different in the data for those two units.

If you could let me know the answers to my queries above and I'll keep on looking in the meantime.

Cheers

Mark
Yep that's what's happening, there were a couple of others (but I've been concetraing on the PIIIG and J/1 because those are the ones I wrote down)

I'm wondering if it's the differnces in the U.S. civilian way of date formating
ie:12/6/2011 respresents December 6,2011

And the rest of the the world's way, which of course 6/12/2011, of date formating

The US Army (and I'm pretty sure the whole US Military) uses the world's formating to keep from having issues . I use ,imho the correct way, which is the world's, to this day (just got used to it I guess). Most guys that spend any time in the service use the world's also,at least most of the guys and gals that I know, and remains one of the little ways to spot a vet

Now measurements are another matter ,,I HATE METRIC  (the Army used that also  )

I'll give the new executable a try today and post my results

Thanks Mark for the help and writing a new executable and thanks to everyone who has helped,

Bob

OK, sucess!

I've now managed to reproduce this so a fix will be on the way shortly. It's a little late (or early in the morning) here so I may not get it finished today but I will post it tomorrow if not.

Hi All,

The fix took less time than I thought and a new version has been uploaded to http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.as ... =&#2879489

I will also update the "master" thread announcing the new version.

Cheers

Your tool is just indispensable for me, Mark. I don't want even want to imagine, how it would be to make my sound mod without it.
Thanks, Mark. :D
