Sheesh no - taking the photos and playing the game is hard enough - lugging round a laptop and updating it every turn would drive everyone concerned nuts!kevinj wrote:An excellent read as ever. Were you entering stuff into the Battle Chronicler throughout the games?

It can't be much harder than recording all the combat dicemadaxeman wrote:Sheesh no - taking the photos and playing the game is hard enough - lugging round a laptop and updating it every turn would drive everyone concerned nuts!kevinj wrote:An excellent read as ever. It was a long shot and it failed in spadespyrrhus wrote:Great report ! love the new maps !!! Hammy !WTF that last battle plan ?

Essentially 9 VPs behind with close to identical armies we felt that a wild plan was in order. It was however the first time I have flank marched when moving second and I think I will probably never do that again. Not having the first move means that the other side are all over you in no time flat.
We would have lost even with average combat dice.
Sadly I can still remember the more memorable games from 10 years agokevinj wrote:In which case extra credit for being able to remember it so well afterwards.Sheesh no - taking the photos and playing the game is hard enough - lugging round a laptop and updating it every turn would drive everyone concerned nuts!

I fear that this one will stick in the mind for a long time.
