4. DIVM attacks Aetius39 using army of Thrake in Aigyptos .
Aetius defeats DIVM 46-14
The Aigyptian army got a good start with some early disruptions and the Thrakian right started crumbling, although at the end our right was also in bad shape, and a turn later would have had a few routs! GG!

3. Aetius39 attacks kronenblatt using army of Mesopotamia in Media .
Aetius defeats kronenblatt 60-54
VERY close game here. I tried a fancy arching flank, but over-extended myself on my right. There were flanks and routs left and right. I finally managed to knock off one last phalanx to get to 60, but if things were a little bit different Andreas would have won. GG and well played!

kronenblatt attacks DIVM using army of Media. Attacker satrapy Armenia (8), defender satrapy Kappadokia (4).
=> kronenblatt wins 62-53.
I managed to win my right flank while Iosing the cavalry battle on my left. Luckily for me, my medium foot on the rough patches there held out long enough for my right to join in on fighting in the centre and ultimately bring home a close-call victory. Many thanks for battle!

5. RicoFGM attacks carpenkm using army of Sogdiane in Paropamisadai .
Carpenkm defeats RicoFGM 40 - 5
I mishandled this one badly -- we only had two-thirds of a map (one third covered by mountains), and a large stream in the middle and I stupidly miscalculated that I could get my pike phalanxes across it in time, but then got tangled up at the river line with carpenkm's mediums.
Well played to my opponent.

carpenkm attacks dragmio using army of Gedrosia in Drangiane
Drangiane falls. Carpenkm beat Dragmio 45 - 3
The Drangianian cavalry attempted to outflank the liberators from Gedriosia but were halted by some lucky holds and an elephant hidden in the woods. Follow up charges by our valiant lancers hit three units of massed archers in the open and broke them all in a very lucky sequence which decided the battle before it had fully got underway. The Gedrosians won before the bulk of the defending heavy phalalnx could get involved. Very unlucky really and with different dice rolling the battle would have been very different. No C in Cs were killed.

The large stream decided it and once my mediums had taken the stream archery was always going to weaken the facing heavies. Well played Rico good battle spoilt by a tricky map.RicoFGM wrote: ↑Wed Nov 26, 2025 5:29 am 5. RicoFGM attacks carpenkm using army of Sogdiane in Paropamisadai .
